I'm making the assumption here that there is no official model for this potentially useful little unit. What do you folks use in their place? Is the most acceptable thing to take one or both of the zonds from the vertigo/reaktion zond box (or is it a blister) and leave them without a weapon? That being the case, it kind of increases the utility of that kit what with having 3 potential profiles included. I do note that the transductor has the weakest stats all round but is even faster at 6-6 instead of 6-4, but i'm guessing the most likely thing to do is run the naked vertigo/reaktion zond?

Assuming the zond box is the same format as the other remotes boxes you should get options for all 4 basic remote types in the box. It won't have a weapon but there is probably some other doodad that you can add to the basic remote to show what version it is.

Yeah, the Zond box includes parts for all four versions.

Oh, well that's cool, too bad they don't mention it on the website, just that it makes vertigo and reaktion zonds, well thanks for clearing that up, glad there's a proper model then!

It IS however listed as one option on THE BOX.

The same is for PanO, Haqq and Yu-jing.

That doesn't really help if you don't already have THE BOX does it? Or have a store nearby that has all of THE BOXES. Having information on what's in THE BOX on the companies website would be a sensible place to put it wouldn't it?

It would - but does the vendor NOT have any "standard" remote boxes for ANY faction?

The online dealers (who have a B&M store also) that I use actually DO have a description of the contents of the boxes.

So - sorry if your vendors are less than helpful. It's not the same where I am.

Well miniature market is the only thing even remotely close to me that sells infinity models and here's what you get from them:

Infinity: Nomads - Zonds Remotes Unit Box (Vertigo and Reaktion) (2)

Zond was the old Russian name for Unidentified Flying Objects. A name which accords perfectly with the speedy Nomad Remotes.

The Nomad nation has a long tradition in the use of remotes. In Corregidor they are frequently used for maintenance of the space craft and for working on EVA. For Bakunin, the remotes are an element in experimentation and development of interfaces and systems, which can later be applied to other applications, such as war or commerce. In Tunguska they are much appreciated as a support element for its hacker and cracker community.

Miniatures are supplied unpainted. Preparation and assembly may be required.

So yeah, totally could have figured it out from the description, why oh why did I ever risk the internet bringing down it's morally superior snarkhammer when everything was so obviously written out for me.

My bad.

To those that were helpful, thanks

This is true, it was a moment of weakness!

For we all know... a snark for a snark will leave the whole world... uhh... a little.. umm.. bit miffed?

Indeed snark leads to hate, hate leads to trolling, and trolling leads to the uhh.. something?

The description that most places use are the product descriptions that Corvus Belli provides them, which as GrimDork posted is not really helpful in this case.

Well, sucks for you in the rest of the world, then.

I suppose that's why we down under pay the gaming taxes (although it's not really present in CB stuff - unless you count postage/shipping from them direct).

Although in my experience, Snarks if left alone, tend to grow into Boojums. Which are much more dangerous to hunt.

In this case it's just the simple fact that Corvus Belli does not have the notation that they do with most other factions.

Matters are not helped by them using the same description for the Zonds box and Meteor Zond blister.

Oh, you can blame warseer for that one.

Remember the multiple gaming forum cripplings that happened a few years ago. Yeah. Them. Those turkish "hackers" or whatever, who thought they were attacking "military" sites.
They put pictures up that can't be unseen. I blame them. Arseclowns.
