That is the Question.
For those who don't know the Waystalker is a nifty little 90pt hero who is basically the fantasy version of a Vindicare Assassin. He is sitting pretty at Bs 7 (Or Bs never hit on less then 3's) he has the ability to target any model in a unit (They don't get LOS!) and kill them off before they become a problem. Now if this was it, he wouldn't be worth it, but in addition to these rules he gets to choose for his Arrows to IGNORE ALL ARMOUR or to Shoot 2 Shots. For an extra 20pts he gets another shot at each with the Bow of Athel Loren, which i'd say is fairly priced.
The problems i have run into is that some armies like Ogres or Daemons aren't really scared of him. He is still Strength 3 so Warriors of Chaos, Dwarves and Orks even without saves take a bit of luck to take down. Then the other problem is a pro/con. If you take a single Waystalker, he has never done much for me, but when i took two they were killing off Hero level characters every turn and Lord levels in 2. Many armies rely on BSB's or Characters to keep there units winning combats or spam low level mages, with a good example being Skaven. It is these armies that the Waystalkers excel against, because it seems few people give there BSB's ward saves and rely on a good armour to keep them safe, which the Waystalkers ignore.
But 2 Waystalkers is 180 pts, 200 with BoL, and they won't make there points back against some armies but will make most Elf, Undead and general T3 characters sweat! Are they worth it in your opinion?
