Automated Space Wolves Thrall

Upper Penninsula Michigan, USA

Just getting back into 40K and thought I would try a space marine army. I painted up three different ones to see what color scheme I liked, any comments or criticism are welcome. A Raven Guard, a Raptor, and a Space Wolf. I spent the most time on the Space Wolf and was the most satisfied with the outcome.

On an somewhat related note I am also not very experienced at painting sci-fi models so any tips and tricks would also be appreciated.

Nice work. The Raven Guard is a little flat, but the SW and Raptor are awesome.

Unhealthy Competition With Other Legions

The raven guard needs far less white; usually just the helmet and one shoulder pad makes it work. Generally the arms only white for captains and veterans in fluff terms, but practically it only looks good on lightning claws. The legs are always black.

The raptor just needs a more olive green shade instead because it looks like a dark angel right now (the double plasma doesn't help either )

That being said, you're solid at painting and the spacewolf looks great
