Heya folks. I've been playing orks since the 4th edition codex, but this is my first 7th edition list. As of right now, my only opponent seems to play Grey Knights, and he usually stomps me but good. I've made this list based on what models I have, but I'd like some thoughts on its viability.

Stormboyz do need a pk nob.

Hmm, isn't that what Zagstruk is for? I mean, with the warboss you can WAAAGH!, which makes it easier to save the rokkit for charges. Granted, I won't argue that having that AND a klaw would be great, but then what do you take out to free up space?

I don't want to subtract rokkits, so the battlewagon stays as is, and so do the deffkoptas. The ram on the vehicles seems kind of necessary, unless terrain allows more free reign, which is probably not good for them anyways. Taking off a killkannon seems to defeat the point of the looted wagon, though I suppose it's nice to have that extra point of armor for only seven points more. Upgrading a stormboy and giving it a klaw will take 35 points, right? Would it be more worth it to get rid of a killkannon? Perhaps losing a deffkopta for a klaw may be more worth it than I'm thinking.

GK is my opponent as well.
I've only been playing since 5th (but only Orks)


IMO:
GKs excell at 2 things survivability (Draigo wing) and messing with your deployment (deep strikers and teleporting dread knights).

You have to find low AP weapons. PERIOD. You have to list tailor. If your meta is paladins and DKs, don't fake yourself out by trying an all comer list (like what U have)

You need lots of hits on AP 3 and above
- That means Burna Wagons and Lobbas and Lootas

You need lots of S9+ AP2 melee.
- That's power klaws.

You need AP 1/2 dakka
- That's Shok attack and KMB or KMCs.

Here is one of the FEW times I might suggest a gorkanaught/Morka (think I just threw up in my mouth)
If snazz guns were more reliable maybe FGs but I'm Luke warm on them. Nice minis... Pirates! But meh for competition (I think).

I haven't used KKannons... Not sure of AP. But if AP3 or +, reconsider.

Painboyz are the new black. Get some.
