Hey guys,

About to get to work on some kommando's and was wondering if you had any crazy/weird ideas floating about. I've already got a few in mind but looking for some more as im sure i missed quite a few fantastic ones
So far im thinking;

Because how is this not hilarious?!

And obviously this

I really enjoy jokey and references, so any classic stealth ideas that i've missed please let me know!
I might even just glue loads of static grass to one ork
Edit: I most definitely will be putting static grass and foliage on orks

Favourite Game: When your Warboss on bike wrecks 3 vehicles simply by HoW - especially when his bike is a custom monowheel.

How about an Ork holding up a sign with a big arrow pointing towards him with the text "NOT AN ORK!"?

HAHA! yeh, or he could be sticking a sign "ORK HERE" onto a grot as it attempts to scrabble away. like a distraction.
Or a sign that reads 'LOOK OVER THERE! -->'

what if instead of camo clothing they have like a dense moss growing from their skin.
You could even position one crouched down, with some skin moss on him and have him coloured as though he's painted himself like a rock.

I like the idea of an ork holding like a blanket painted like grass, bricks or planks.

reminds me of Konohameru

Konohameru is one of my favourite characters of all time those scenes are always so hilarious. I will definitely have a tribute to him. I've come up with a list of ideas;

Swamp dude - so il use the tophalf of a torso with the arms and head coming out of the base, using PVA glue and inks to make a murky water look on the base.
'Camel'flage - Which will be two orks in a camel suit like you get for fancy dress parties, probably will use them as two models on separate bases to excentuate even further how they dont understand
Cloud/smoke - an ork with smoke laaunchers on himself. so probably cotten wool around him
Preiscope space marine - a dude with a periscope, but the periscope will have a marine head on top and arms and legs with a bolter, sort of like an inverse puppet.
small rock - just an ork with his head behind a small rock, his arse in the air, 'can't see dem 'umies, dem 'umies cant see me!'
Tree man - ork in a tree like pose holding branches (most likely branch wraith with foliage added)

Favourite Game: When your Warboss on bike wrecks 3 vehicles simply by HoW - especially when his bike is a custom monowheel.

Haha I love your ideas, especially the camel suit hilarious.

What about an orc sticking his head into the sand thinking if I can't see them, they can't see me.

Here are my Kommandos. A little more conventional, but there are a few conversions mixed in with the standard models.

I like the way Grimtuff's kommandos are wildly overloaded with equipment. Fluffwise, that makes sense for an infiltrating unit which may be far from supply lines for a long time, and modelling-wise, it's an easy way to differentiate them from ordinary boyz. It's also a good excuse to use looted IG/marine equipment such as ammo pouches, water bottles, backpacks etc.

im also working on some kommandos at the moment, trying to keep them reasonably conventional but the more I see the humorous models others have made im starting to sway slightly.
the metal gear 'snake in a box' is a must for me, and I cant wait to get started on him. I've considered a few other game related ones but I feel they're a little to crazy for me:
- the new 'thief character' and/or altair from assassins creed. similar yet each amusing.
- plants vs zombies- three zombies are often seen holding a camel sign. this could be replaced with three orks holding a rhino or bike sign, individual bases to make there distance even more amusing.
- team fortress 2- I've seen some conversions already on a google search and they are incredible. each individual but enough of a squad theme to pull them off.
I'm definitely going to attempt one in a gilly suit, and a few emerging from puddles and through foliage. I look forward to seeing some of your ideas come to life!

Wot's faster than a warbuggy, more killy than a warbike, and flies through da air like a bird? I got no bleedin' idea, but I'm gonna find out.

Yeh i don't think its possible to make anything orky without adding humurous bits

As for the head in the sand idea I will be definitely using that and the R2-D2 ork is hilarious, just little pricey for one model for me :/ But I also enjoy the overloaded backpacks, I think its a must for kommando's to look like they are carrying a rediculous amount of wargear

I had no intention of fielding Kommandos, but the modelling prospects alone would make it worth it.
