Str 9 makes them some of your best anti-vehicle units in the nid army.
2 broods of carnifex's will also soak up enough fire that your Flyrants might survive the whole game.
I do see where your going with the list, but your dont have enough troops for maelstrom missions and if your not doing maelstrom just stick with 2 ripper swarms.
Hey thanks for the feedback! I'm aware of the usual nidzilla and including several fexes but in this instance I wanted to try something a little less usual.
I've just tried this list out and it was awesome! I won 13/10 at the relic primary, purge the alien secondary. I'll be posting a report on my blog tomorrow.
I'm pretty happy with the list as it is, super fun to work with and flows pretty nicely. One edit o. The list I used in the game was --swap out a venom for another zoey.
Compared to most other armies out there, 6-8 warp Charge +
D6 is actually pretty competitive. It's only if you come up against demons/ grey knights where you're going to have an issue.
The new nid is pretty awesome. It's a slow footslogger but if you get get it to
cc, it'll do you proud! The game I just finished, it died on turn 6 after drawing ALOT of fire power away from the rest of my army and killing 2 chapter masters and 10 bikes. ( all iron hands)
It Made over triple it's points back so Don't tell me it's not good!
