This is my list for the escalation league im in, im new to fantasy. We decided to noy require a bsb till later on.

Heroes:

Paladin- Warhorse, shield, wyrmlance, virtue of audacity ( rides with errants hunting monsters)

Core:

5 Errant- Champ, standard bearer ( errant banner)

9 KOTR- champ, standard bearer

9 KOTR- champ, standard bearer (war banner)

Thats what im starting with, what do you think? And any tactics would be very helpful as im new to fantasy and brets

I suggest you try to get 3 naked pegasus knights. They are an awesome, flying, hard hitting unit. To get the points, I would remove the errant knights, since the are prone to charge when you least need it. Even with the palading in the unit, they fail their impetuous tests quite easy (errant banner, no bsb).

Depending on your enemies, I would reconsider your palading equippment. I mean, it is aswesome to have flaming attacks and re-roll to hit and to wound against S5 models. But you are spending 50 valuable points on a combo that might be usless when not facing monsters or regen units. If you think you will face them at 750 points games then its ok. Otherwise, I would spend those points on other things.

For 65 points (just 15 more points than the said combo) you get 10 bowmen with braziers. They are a good chaff unit, not causing panic, and give you the chance to use the shooting phase.

I was wondering if the errant were to much at this level, and if i dont run the paladin like that how should i run him? I like the peasant bowman, woulf it bebbest to run the skirmishers?

Hows this list look? I dont have any pegasus knights, the paladin rides with the unit of 8 KOTR, paladin has a 1+ save if i do the math right

If I'm not mistaken, seeing as you are playing Bretonnian you must field 2 characters, one to be your general and one to be your mandatory BSB.

As stated above we are forgoing that rule until a later point level
