I'm debating dropping Yarrick, the tech priest, and the 2 demolishers in exchange for some of my Eldar. Specifically something like a spirit seer or farseer, 5 wraithguard, wave serpent. (Please note I made this army just for fun, but it actually seems kind of potent so I figured why not try a tourney. I've only done 1 game with them so far... And lost, just barely though! Dang Deldar rolled two lucky flicker fields!!!) anyway, let me know what you all think ...

Or add the farseer, dire avengers and a wraithknight with shield and sun cannon.

Paranoia is a very comforting state of mind. If you think they're out to get you, it means you think you matter.

No real point taking Yarrick - he's tough but ultimately a small fry at that points level.

Drop the lascannons off the LRBTs - after it fires the battle cannon you can only snap shot the lascannons. Which vehicle is the tank commander in? Please say the Vanq (whose lascannon you should keep). LRBTs are one of the worse variants for that reason. An alternative is exterminators or executioners

Tech priest isn't really worth it - low likelyhood of weapon destroyed (which is the only one you really care about). If you're worried about that give them all heavy stubbers so there's another weapon they can blow off.

Make sure your vets have a purpose. I get the Gren, melta, power weapon guys but not the others. I'm assuming they're manning the defence line and quad gun. For only one squad to hide behind you might as well get a hydra for AA, then give the vets forward sentries and hide them in cover.

With their weapons as well you'd be far better off loading them with longer-range special weapons (plasmas, GLs, snipers) and giving them a AC/HB.

Also give your chimera a firing weapon then when it moves it doesn't waste one of the templates and can snap-shot a ML/HB.

Deathstrikes are a massive gamble. For the same points you can get 2xWyverns which will almost inevitably cause more damage with points to spare.

I quite like the eldar idea (providing you can live with the penalties) as it'll give you an ability to contest the phychic sphere. Although alternatively i'd like to see another chimera-vets and a flyer (potentially for the third vet squad as well as AA). If you dropped Yarrick you'd even be able to move your demolishers into a HQ spot with a second tank commander. Perhaps a Paskisher and a demolisher to keep the range consistent.

As always though - up to you mate.

Ah some good points there, I kind of took the techpriest to also grant Power of the Machine Spirit to a tank to kind of offset the ordinance part... But I made an alternate list that may be a bit more potent. I dropped the Chimera, yarrick, and one demolisher (along with a few upgrades like the camo netting on the deathstrikes) and added in a Farseer, 5 rangers (for the quadgun) and a wraithknight with scatter shield and suncannon and 1 scatterlaser.

Lose Yarrick and take Pask on the Vanquisher. Lose the battle tanks and make them something useful, like Exterminators, Punishers, or Executioners, that way you can actually use sponsons and hull mounted weapons to some effect. The techpriest is up to you honestly, if you want to try keeping him behind your HS or HQ and repair them as you go that might work, but you'll want to give him a couple servitors to guarantee a repair check.

Put both veterans in Chimeras and drop the heavy weapon team and heavy flamer. They're better as mobile firepoints, so give the other squad three meltas or plasmas.

Demolishers are the same as battle tanks, they can't shoot anything else worth a damn after using their main weapon. If you really can't do without them I can understand, but I'd recommend changing these guys from demolishers to a Eradicator and maybe a Punisher, both with sponsons. In 7th it's a cover-users game so ignoring that cover will net you a better kill ratio than if you weren't.

Deathstrikes for the lols. I love these things.

Aeigs? Eh. Drop it and take a Hydra or two, you can easily fit them in once you move points around.

Edit: You may want to consider dropping a deathstrike for another Vet squad in a Chimera with some weapons honestly, you're only sporting two infantry units and if this is a tourney, you'll need the OBS.

How's that? Yes pask is in the vanquisher. The guard models are all that I have to work with so I can't add more chimera or hydras right now.

Woh random Eldar....

I dislike that the Vets are on foot. if possible id give em at least forward sentry and a heavy weapons squad to sit behind cover on objectives and cut the meltas (perhaps just take melta bombs to make more points)
The battle cannon lascannon is still an issue but if thats how its modeled then meh its just mostly wasted points (besides the occasional 6s.

I feel you just dont have enough troops or mobility. you will probably need to get lucky in ether objectives or first turn otherwise it will probably come down to the wire.
