This will be for an upcoming its tourney but I am sort of working on a budget. I know makaul are considered the best but not really able to afford the box right now and with this list all that is left for me to get is the gao real labeled as lt and someone has a spare keesan they are selling me for cheap.
I am curious on strategy and such if there are any fellow tohaa players on this forum(we seem to be hard to find.)
I am not sure how to equip my spec ops so far I gave him doctor engineer an adhl and mimetism. I am leaning towards keeping the adhl but not sure on everything else.

Not really a Tohaa player, but I'd move the Gao-Tarsos to the 1st combat group. AD is good at exploiting weaknesses in your opponent's positioning. Having only 2 orders to work with when he lands limits his rather high potential for violence.

In ITS tournaments, you generally bring two lists and pick one or the other depending on the mission. You're only allowed one list? Also do you know what the scenarios are before hand or do you find out when you get there?

Yeah, the Gao Tarsos is an order hungry unit. If it lands on target, you're going to want as many orders as you can. it's a rambo unit. You also have space free in the main group, with only 9 models.

The Auxiliar don't need as many orders. The Neurocinetics HMG Auxiliar is happy sitting in your deployment zone guarding your backline, and 2 orders is fine for the baggage Chaksa if you want to move him up to use his sensor.

Its not worth breaking up the combat groups on account of one order. Just find four points and put a diplomat with your HMG chaksa in #2
