The last time I played Malifaux was in 2011. What have I missed?

and is the Dreamer still good? I was never a good player, but I had a lot of fun with him.

The game has been updated to second edition, which cleaned up a lot of the rules and rebalanced the game. It's much more playable and friendly to new players, but still very much Malifaux and still quite fun.

The Dreamer's rules are in the Wave 2 book that is releasing at GenCon this year (and will be able to be purchased on Wyrd's webstore during the convention). He's still playing tag team with Lord Chompy Bits, but his style is more about summoning and support now, rather than just unburying a half dozen models in your opponent's face.

He's pretty fun to play, and he has upgrades that allow you to take him in a couple different directions, depending on whether you want to play him as a summoning, pulling Nightmare models out of thin air to torment your opponents, or just as a support engine for Lord Chompy Bits tearing a path of destruction across the field.
