Is the "Veteran of the Long War" Leadership-bonus included in the DPs profile or does it have Ld 10 with it added?

What does the Veterans rule say?

Page 30 of the CSM codex has your answer. Very last sentence of "Veterans of the Long War".

Veterans of the Long War adds +1 to the models Ld. The DP already has Veterans included in it´s profile, but it doesn´t say whether it should add +1 to DP´s Ld or if it would´ve been Ld 8 without Veterans.

Yes, but since the DP already HAS the Veteran rule included and not optional like standard Chaos Space Marines, I still wonder. I WANT it to add +1 to DPs leadership so I can have DPs as warlords...

Don't add it, it's already included

And the Veteran rule says

When Veterans of the Long War is listed in a unit's special rules, the Leadership increase will have already been taken into account in its profile.

What is unclear about that? Since it's listed in the unit's special rules, the Leadership increase is already there. You can want until the cows come home, but the rule is perfectly clear.
You can have a DP as a Warlord - three's no restriction on being the highest Leadership HQ character in 7th like there was in 6th.

When choosing your army, you must nominate one model to be your Warlord. Unless specified otherwise, this must be a character model. If you do not have any character models in your army, then select any other model in your army to be the Warlord. The model you choose as your Warlord also determines your Primary Detachment.

See anything about Leadership there?

It doesn't even have to be an Independent character, or even an HQ choice. You can pick random aspiring champion #3 as your warlord, if you want.

Which can be very useful, depending the situation.
The Warlords granting Relentless to the rest of the Unit is very nice if a 'Sargent' in a massive heavy-weapon blob is your Warlord.

Sadly you can't pick your warlord after you pick the trait. THAT would be cool. "Oh, relentless? The havoc aspiring champion. Shrouded? The raptor aspiring champion. Feel no pain? The terminator aspiring champion."

It is one of those tactical decisions I love to see: Put the Trait on a weaker Model and hope for something good, or put it on a stronger Model that will survive the 'kill the warlord' response a little better.

I go weaker more then not as the more 'useless' Warlord results are a better modifier on a basic Unit then one which already has access to better Rules.
That, and most people tend to forget that the warlord is a simple 'Sargent' so they often survive longer that way.

That depends. My daemon prince is incredibly deadly. I've seriously debated making an aspiring champion the warlord, since everyone wants to kill the daemon prince anyway. He rarely lives through a game.
