Congrats on winning against white scars. This looks like a solid list, I am not sure how the formations work, but I thought you could only bring them if you are actually using that detachtment as your main detachment. In future games you might have issues with maelstrom missions, with your objective secured units in flyers, who can only come in turn 2. The first turn will hurt points wise. I would almost recommend maybe dropping the doom scythe and moving around points and possibly put a units of warriors in a ghost ark

Yes. Have thought the same. Doom Scythe only there to deal with potential Invisibility issues. Detatchments work just like allies, so the list is battle forged. And this one gives you loads of shooting and PE Space Marines (BA, DA, GK, SW etc) and Tank Hunter. I take the interceptor on the Broadsides and they make pretty good mess of anyone threatening my airspace. The scoring thing is interesting. We played Deadlock (where you start with 6 TO cards turn one and countdown each turn) which is the maelstrom game that should disadvantage my list the most and be best for my opponent. Sure enough, with all the bikes, two tanks, and two lone backfield inquisitors, he leaped ahead on points early on, but even aside from the tabling - I was equal on points by the end of turn five anyway. And I didn't get particularly lucky with cards. Remember that everything is scoring and I've got three skimmers (one hyper mobile) and the contents of three flyers when they come in to score with, I didn't use my riptide particularly aggressively this game, but they can also be useful for scoring.
