Hello Dakka Dakka. I am a returning player to Warhammer and it has been a while since I have painted anything, I painted these knights over the past month and I am pretty happy with how they came out. This was also my first time doing any experimentation with free hand on some of the areas on the knights. Overall doing the freehand was a learning experience and I hope to get better with practice, but I was happy with the over all appearance.

These are wonderful! I really like them. I love that big mix of bright colours, makes me think of the old school Eavy Metal jobs, and its just a joy to look at. They look like a single unit, but every miniature is unique. The freehand looks really good, I'm assuming on the banners and shields? I thought they were decals well done!

Thank you for the compliments. The free hand is in the checker pattern on some of the knights, some vines and swirls painted on some, the fleur di lis on the champion, and some crossing patterns on the banner. Most of symbols are decals, however I did have to touch some up that ripped, didn't apply properly, or you could see the base color underneath the decal. Thank you for the kind words though.

Just finished a couple of my spell casters. Trying to get more practice at doing a little bit of free hand on the cloak. The tail on the horse was missing from the person I got the model from, but it doesn't bother me too much because I expect a new model will be made that I will pick up when the new Bretonnians get released. Also I need a camera that can take better pictures instead of my phone.
