I take on the Orks in a 1500 point game of the Emperors will with my Eldar. To mix it up a bit i use a fully mechanized eldar force and anything not in a tank is a vehicle itself. IS it strong enough to take on the hordes of orks?

Orks turn 2. Were there 2 units of boyz that made the charge? Cause if that was 1 unit that multicharged, they'd be str3.

All in all, orks had a nice but not competitive list. And you made a ton of mistakes. All you really needed is wrecking a truck and killing some bikers asap. Kanz and a horde are too slow. 10 lootas are somewhat frightening but it was a good move do kill 8 in the first place. But even so, truck full of meganobz and a biker squad are supposed to be the main target. After that, it's not difficult to run circles around the slow and vulnerable horde. Usually it takes like 4 turns for footslogging sluggaboyz to start doing anything.

Thank you for the report! Th table was very attractive, with its hills and river.

As kooooaei says, Orks who multicharge remain at S3, so that shouldn't have worked. Otherwise I would agree that you didn't attack the vulnerability of your opponent's list (i.e. That he had different movement speeds) and instead let his fast elements devastate your army. Saying that though, I don't see how any Eldar list with three Wave Serpents in it can be considered "not competitive".

Nice report. I agree with the others that your target prioritizing was off, as it takes a couple turns before killa kans are effective and the meganobz Trukk turned into a huge killer of your forces. The bikers were also deadly. Overall you probably need to either engage the enemy in front of your tanks, or kill them before they reach your tanks because tanks are not very good when they're chaeged

For the guy who leaves it all on the field (because he doesn't pick up after the game).
