Hi Guys.

This afternoon I've shot some pictures of a few models I've been working on lately (as I have described in the welcome section I've bought a 4000 point High elf army beginning of this year). Ill post some of them here for you to view and comment on, rest can be found in my gallery if you want to take a look.

Tomorrow Ill also shoot some photo's of a few regiments I have finished (or that are nearly finished). So for now enjoy and all comments are welcome! Please vote on my images so I know what you guys think of them, Thanks.

That phoenix is SUPERB. I love the blackened feathers take on the classic look.

These look brilliant! Great motivation to try and push myself further, great inspiration. Love the bases.

The phoenix is inspired. The blackened look still clearly has the phoenix signature, but is very different from the GW colorful one.

The griffon is amazing and majestic. It looks like a regal hunter, while still having the predatory look of the High Elf griffon (rather than the fat rooster look of the Empire one).

The dragon is a great conversion, but it looks too muscular and beefy for a high elf dragon. Don't get me wrong--it's a super model and a grand paint job, but it doesn't look as sleek and graceful as I would think. Instead of a serpent, it looks like a saltwater croc--still deadly, but not very lithe.

Wow, thanks all you guys! I didn't expect this kind of reactions..

@ turgon868: Yes I have. But I need to shoot some better photo's of them. Will post them here asap (probably tuesday).

@Da Butcha: Thanks for the criticism! And your right about the elfish dragon supposed to be slimmer. But I really thought the original dragon lacked the aggression and intimidation factor I imagined a dragon would have. I wanted a dragon that had size and a real fearsome look. And since I'm not a pro sculptor I searched until I found the carnosaurs model to be just the perfect solution for my lack of skills. So I hope you can forgive me

Hi guys just shot some photo's of my older work and of some really old work (one of the last regiments I was working on before I was forced to stop the hobby many years ago.

Enjoy!

White lions WIP with a some conversion on the command group and the head of the banner carrier :

Archer regiment WIP (still have to finish some details and all of there bases). Also the first time I started to do eyes as shown in tutorials online. Before that I tried but mostly ended up with blue dots where eyes should be or with shaded eyes so I didn't have to do them

And last but not least; One of the last regiments (Swordmasters of Hoëth) I was working on like 10 Years ago just before I had to stop the hobby due to the lack of time and Game stores around. In the background are unpainted new models that I bought at the begin of this year.

Funny thing is that these models and the White lions have over 9 years of no painting in between them (well no painting of models that is) and still I managed to improve my self.
