So I've been growing a modest nomads collection, and i'm looking into making some lists for the off-chance I ever get to play.

I'm working with:
3x moderator w/ combi
moderator w/ spitfire
moderator w/ multi sniper rifle (looking at converting the arm to hold a combi or something else that isn't 1.5 swc)
reverend moira w/ multi rifle
revered custodier w/ combi/marker
sin eater w/ mk12
sin eater w/ multi sniper rifle
zero with e/mauler (though i'll probably use her as a mine-layer frequently)
bran do castro
lunkhod sputnik
2x tsyklon sputniks with whichever configuration
riot grrl with spitfire
i've also got something that should fill in pretty well for up to 4x zondbots too, just in case.

3 SWC | 200 Points

Gets me all 10 orders filled out, but it's kind of bland with five basic moderators.. I had an earlier version with 3 mods and a spitfire mod instead, with only 9 orders... Is losing out on that last order a big deal at this points range? I figure the sputnik and riot grrl have 4 total expendable shots to try to disable a tag, and the sputnik's d-charges will blow one up once down, right? Do i need both bran and the zero?

What could i switch around to do better? Got any good 100-150 or 300 point lists out of what i've listed above? What other bakunin units would compliment what i've already got?

Just some idea for future purchases:

Zoe and П -Well are a very strong choice in bakunin there's a lot of combo with her, well mostly with П -Well :p
also Morlock with assaut pistol are a totaly competitive pick (10 pts for a mini close range HMG)
and finaly ADHL prowler (camo + flamer + ADHL + Infiltration = frickin badass)

Yeah i'm probably going to have to get that prowler now that i've thought about it. Seems like a good combo with the lunokhod to immobilize a target and then instigate violence upon it.

I also love the morlock models, and that seems like the nicest profile too. I have the inclination to someday run a small list entirely composed of morlocks, taking advantage of their overlooked LT, though i'll have to find something to use along with the 4-pack to keep things interesting!

Zoe seems nice, she isn't terribly more expensive than my favored custodier profile though she's squishier and doesn't have the hacking device plus. Pi-well is just silly though, the OD-field seems almost too much.. especially if he's following around a link team. Suddenly your riot grrls or moderators are as hard to hit as freaking moiras!

Note Piwells ODF is only template sized, not zone of control. Generally maintaining clusters in infinity is dangerous so often I'd only keep him, a dude to protect and maybe an engineers zondbot in there. He works well with TR remotes and following tags.

Morlocks are good area deterrants, so I often just go with the CR version.

If you are playing ITS scenarios you have insufficient specialists which are just a necessary evil but it gives some focus to the game.

Prowlers are good and all their loadouts are too. So anything goes.

In reality if you faced a tag there's not much you could do, spitfires aren't great for them. You start hoping for crits really (which at 20% isn't too bad tbh). The Sputnik is won't get into b2b and one dcharge is unlikely to instant kill it. You'd be better off using the boarding shotgun in reality. The only dudes who can glue and d charge is corrigedor.

I would look at taking the lunokhod with koalas rather than the glue. Those critters are good and effective area denial is well... an effective game strategy. Other Sputnik options are the tsyklon with spitfire, markers. They can get into better places to shoot markers rather than speculative shotting them all over the board like custodiers often do. Then after immobilising follow up with the spitfire.

In terms of counter tag units, the best unit is actually the uberfall kommandos. Anything they get into CC with dies, quickly. Its just the journey there that can be difficult.

One thing I would say is worthwhile getting is another zero. I see you have bran. Never used him but that's just as I've never been that sold on him. Seems quite expensive. Sure super infil. is good, seen it from uxia enough but it just feels a bit situational for nomads as he can only be an assassin. No specialist options.
