1) fliers seem like they might be an issue. Stalkers aren't super amazing, imo, at their anti-air.

2) Why is the LRC alone in heavy support? I assume it's a dedicated transport for the Assault termies? If it isn't, it probably should be.

It is in dedicated transport. What do you suggest for AA?

Yes, Stormravens are very good AA. Assault Cannon, MM, and 4 Stormstrike missiles will wipe any flier from the board. (At least ones I'm familiar with)

Another question: Is the Ironclad worth taking, or should I throw in another Tac squad? I put a locator beacon on one of the pods with the idea that the Ironclad would drop on the second turn to support one of the tac squads.

I really like this list, might want to consider some of my thoughts:

i reckon keep the ironclad, but get rid of the HK missiles on them, you will be wanting to burn some troops or melta a tank and then get it into close combat asap so they are surplus to requirement in my opinion.

you might consider getting rid of one of the flamer tactical squads then using the 20 points from the HK missiles, removing the extra armour on the stormraven for 5 points and the 190 from the tactical squad to buy a 5 man assault squad with 2 flamers and melta bombs in a drop pod for 100 points and a stormtalon with skyhammers for 125. By my maths that should equal 1850 exactly.

I'd drop the ironclad for a Sternguard unit with 2 heavy flamers that Vulkan can join. That gives you your 5th pod still and will annihilate any pack of infantry.

I don't play Space Marines, but I agree. What I see missing is a drop pod full of sternguard...special ammo, and a melta/Flamer or two would give you more options.

Yeah having thought about it, i also concur with The Clincher. Sternguard drop squad with 2 heavy flamers to replace the ironclad.

Ironclads in 7th are great. If I could I would run a dream iron hands list with forge master and 6 of them . There armor 13 and were always a pain. Now they can't be randomly blown up as easily. Plus they can take stuff that works well with salamanders. Not sure if the hk x 2 is worth it, but I personally like the ironclads a lot.

You can also have him riding on the storm raven too, never seen it done, but could be fun to have him assault out of it.

I like the marine flyer as the best anti-air, the storm talon. It has a twinlinked assualt cannon and a cyclone ML and is pretty cheap if I recall. Not sure if you own them, but 1 to two of those can be fun, or bring the stromraven and have it escort on with it.

Other than that I like the list, much props for bringing a fluffy list true to the salamanders.

My one other comment is bring a multi-melta on your melta marine squads, there twin linked (unless that changed, and even snap firing may get some luck shots off for not a lot of points.

GL!

Multi-Meltas aren't twin linked.

Don't mix in combi flamers with heavy flamers, you're wasting points. The weapon types have to fire independently now so by the time you're done wth the heavy flamers, no targets will be in range of the flamers. Take 5 sternguard as I listed with 2 heavy flamers and Vulkan. The other special ammo will work fine.

As for the ironclads weapons, he doesn't have chapter tactics in the newer marine codex so his flamers don't benefit .. But his single melta would I guess.

I also think the assault terminators were better; they're you're answer to Wraithknights, big MCs in assault and Chapter Masters.

I agree with the terminators comment. I'm debating whether or not to throw in a tac squad instead of sternguard. Objective secured seems to be big in 7th.

No, go read his rules, All meltaguns, combi-melt and multi-meltas are master-crafted. Its not twin-linked but its still a reroll
