Appreciate recommendations please. Have 10 small ships now and looking for a storage solution. I will eventually own at least 1 of every ship.

Im in the UK if this helps.

cheers.

KR multicase is my choice.
I'm in the US and I've found it takes about a week to get an order and shipping has been free on both orders.

My biggest beef with BF is taking the ships apart to store.

Another vote for kr here. I'm on my fourth case now.

Mistakes were made.

Time varies greatly, the 4-8 week estimate on custom orders around sales is usually right on though. I was pretty surprised that I got a shipping notification today for a custom order I placed during the July 4th weekend sale. Wasn't expecting it til September.

mine was just a normal precut order. wasnt even custom anything. but alarmingrick has a good point. taking everything apart in order to store it is kind of annoying.

I've got the wave 3 and wave 4 BF foam. I liked the wave 3 better than wave 4. With the inclusion of wave 4 I feel the single model tray is a bit over loaded. However, I've got everything I need in basically a shoulder bag, which I like a lot. Wait for a sale weekend to save a few bucks if you can go that long. Next big sale is likely Labor day weekend.

Apologies for resurrecting this thread but I have a relevant query.

If I order a Kaiser1 transport bag, does it come with a standard KRU 1 cardboard case included, so I only need to order the foam trays?

Usually. I think you can select 'empty' if you just want the bag, but by default it comes with a card case and your choice of trays.

“Good people are quick to help others in need, without hesitation or requiring proof the need is genuine. The wicked will believe they are fighting for good, but when others are in need they’ll be reluctant to help, withholding compassion until they see proof of that need. And yet Evil is quick to condemn, vilify and attack. For Evil, proof isn’t needed to bring harm, only hatred and a belief in the cause.”

I purchased battlefoam for the imperial assault game. The one I ordered was the one that fit in the original game box. It fit after forcing it to fit and it pushes the sides out of the original box. Making it harder to open and close. So will never purchase their foam ever again. I will be getting the KR foam and cases for my X-Wing game and hope they will make one for Imperial Assault.

Misread your quote.

Regardless, I've always been pleased with my BF Board Game Foam.

I think if you want to keep your models assembled KR is the better option.

I've got a selection of the Feldherr ones (one of the Maxi ones with space for rebel transport, CR-90 and a lot of other ships (including custom trays for the Falcon, Decimator, YT-2400 etc(, and some smaller ones for when I only need to transport a few ships). I prefer them to the KR cases as the generic slots are less constrictive as to what you can put in them and the bags are smarter too. I'm not sure whether they are considerably pricier, but I feel i've got value for money with what i've bought and would recommend them without hesitation.
