This is a special scenario where waves of Orks attack an Imperial strong point.

The only key to victory is the Inquisitor, if she dies the Orks win, if she escapes the Imperials win.

Will the Inquisitor make it out on the soon to arrive transport before the base is overrun?

Let us know what you think.

That was an awesome game and really bad luck on the inquisitor's part.

Btw, barrage no longer causes pinning tests, so shoota boyz couldn't have gotten pinned by mortars (if that was the thing that pinned them).

And this fight is the illustration of how the ork's main tactix rule works. Timing is the most important thing. When you come in waves, you get shot down without having done much in return.

Thanks :-)

Yes I was not happy with my Inquisitors adverse reaction to a single Ork boy but it was my choice to play the odds and stay in combat.

I believe the pinning was just a voluntary going to ground on the Orks part.

Yes the waves worked just how I wanted for the mission, Orks get easily handled for the first couple of turns but attrition and the odd surviving unit slowly take their toll until Ghaz arrives with the hammer and it all goes to hell. Its hard to judge with random tables but they a little thought and planning and it usually works out.
