Hey guys. I'm planning on creating a mass cultists from Fantasy's Skaven Plague Monks, Beastmen Ungor and Empire Flaggelants. Now the Chaos Cultists come with close combat weapons (which will be plenty), autopistols and autoguns. My problem is, any idea where to mass acquire them since GW doesn't sell the like anymore? Since I'll be playing mostly at my local GW store I'd prefer to keep it to their products. I don't mind doing a bit of converting work (love it) and already plan on making some conversions from bolt pistols. Either way, I'd appreciate any tips.

Grots will have a bunch of "pistols"

Las pistols are all over the place too

Specific auto pistols and guns are not made any more besides the chaos cultist kits.

Though it is a GW, ask the manager if its k to use 3rd party as it would be much easier to get pistols.

I know that they're 3rd party but these are pretty cool.

I have cultists made from skaven clanrats, and I've found that dark eldar weapons are scaled perfectly, and are basically evil looking laspistols.


For the ungores and flagellants, ork slugga arms might work out, though they could be a touch big.
Any bits site should set you up nicely.

I was considering Grots as well, they're a pretty cheap buy for the guns you can get off them. Also asked some time ago about 3rd party stuff concerning some female bits I had from Victoria Miniatures. He said while he doesn't disapprove acting upon the hobby he, from a business side, finds it hard to allow it in the shop and if he did wouldn't know how other people would react upon it.

I saw those cultists when I googled it earlier and liked the idea, was unsure where the weapons were from but it's good to know they're Dark Eldar, I'll see if I can get my hands of them. As for the Orks, I considered those as well.
