Hi Guys,

Just about to enter a kill team tournament and after some ideas for what a good kill team army would be. At the moment I was looking at 5 Warp Spiders /w Exarch (Fast shot/stalker/spinneret rifle), and 5 rangers. Any other ideas?

I would take a Vyper rather than the Rangers.

Bad thing about Warp Spiders in kill team is that since they become separate units, every time you roll doubles on your warp jump move, you lose the guy.

Rangers are not ideal. Dark reapers are GREAT in kill teams imo.

I do drugs.
Mostly Plastic Crack, but I do dabble in Cardboard Cocaine.

Can't take heavy support in Kill Team

Yeah I've been trying out warp spider/rangers and seems to be working pretty well.. Monofilament works well against any vehicles pretty well (vehicles can't have a combined AV of over 33), spinneret rifle can take out models with high armour saves, and the rangers I just stick in cover and if the opponent tries to attack them I just go to ground for 2+ save and they work as a nice distraction, otherwise pretty much have range over the whole board and can hope for 6's to wound. But not sure if something might be better than the rangers (or if I should just take extra warp spiders?)

6 Jetbikes- 2 SC
4 Jetbikes- 1 SC

200 on thye nose.

all T4, all 3+ armour, all have speed and SC's for armour.

i think this is the best the dex has to offer regarding kill teams.

All anyone wants in the world is to be accepted. Except me, i don't give a S%@t.

I ran a similar list. It was:

6 Jetbikes- 2 SC
3 Shining Spears

4000 points: Craftworld Mymeara

I was about to say striking scorpions but they are to expensive, I would then go with warp spiders
