Hi folks... I'm starting late with my journeyman league army and might end up applying the first coat of paint on the same day as the start of the league... I'm thinking of using a hair dryer to speed up the drying of the coat... does that work or is that just some old wife's (and/or husband's) tale?
Edit... changed 'layer' to 'coat'

It should work, although I'd leave the heat off. I know I put models in front of a small fan to dry faster. If you have a lot of floating stuff in the air (like cat hair), might not be such a good idea.
Note that if you do it with washes, it'll dry more like a glaze, as the slow dry allows the wash to pool more into certain areas.

Well, there's a slight risk of gluing something together with it. Only slight, mind.

You can use the heat of a hair dryer to speed up the drying of the paint, just be sure to use low or medium setting to be safe if you are using it on resin or plastic models (depending on the hair drier of course).

A hair dryer is one of my most frequently used tools in my shop. It's a fantastic way to speed up the painting process.
