Looking for 2 army lists. Yep... it is cheesy but it is the easiest way to get my wife interested in painting the miniatures and playing the game. Since the game has very stylish and anime style looks I am looking to put a couple teams together so I could use your help. I could probably just go for flat out looks and fill in the ranks but I do want the teams to be functional, otherwise if she plays with others and its too one sided then it no longer becomes fun.

We already have some Panoceania, Nomads and Yu Jing. But we don't have to be limited to those factions. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you!

Your best bet for all females is probably nomads, you may even be able to go with the Bakunin sectorial if so inclined. The other viable option for females is Aleph, with a combination of female robots, and sexless ones.

In general Aleph is styled to be more... Alluring than the female nomads but they have got some cool things. Grab an asura who's a very boss HI, some posthumans who do weird stuff (lhost proxy bodies the chick jumps between in battle) and a sophotect who's the best doctor/engineer in one in the game. Those only come in female models. There's also devas, and nagas which are pretty common in aleph armies that have a few female scuplts. And there's the Chandra spec ops finally who looks real cool.

Even though I play nomads, I'd go aleph for a female army. For the guys, anyone can really do it so whoever. Maybe Pano seeing as you already have some and can bring out potent HI as well?

If your attack is going too well, you have walked into an ambush

The easy way is always mined

There's also Atlanta for Aleph, who brings some long range pain and is a cool sculpt with her little buddy.

And Pene. Good god how did I forget Pene. One of the best sculpts in the whole range (in my opinion of course). Pass up Aleph after you see that, go on, I dare you

I wish I had time for all the game systems I own, let alone want to own...

My brother actually did a good all female list with Qapu Khalki. 5 Odalisques, 2 Yuan Yuan (using the female Yuan Yuan and a conversion of a Ragik), 5 female Ghulam link (using a few female line infantry from other factions and some head swaps), conversion of the Djanbazan sniper into a female (all it needs is a head swap if you're so inclined because of the pose, or you could use an Al Hawwa sniper).

Once they're all unified with a non-standard colour scheme, they just look like a girl power mercenary force.

Some definite good suggestions thank you. I'm starting to shift through some lists to try to figure out what works well together and strategies for them. I'll probably wait until after Icestorm so I can see some of the changes of 3d edition and how it could effect the team play.

I've come very close to playing with all-female lists before, but some factions really need some conversion effort to get to the point you're not overly limited in your options.

- Nomads is probably the easy move. Although a fair chunk of it is sexy nuns and catgirls (so not to many people's tastes), other factions don't pack the same range of many female options. (For example, as part of a recent discussion, we ended up counting up both Nomads and Haqqislam*. The former was about 40:40 Male:Female, the latter more like 55:25).
- ALEPH is another possibility, but the current development focus is on the rather more male dominated Steel Phalanx sub-faction, so it's less likely to be easily expanded in the near future.
- The silly answer is go Shasvastii, and do a list that's both all male and all female. Hermaphrodites - they're like that.

*However, if you're sufficiently capable with green stuff, I have direct experience that Haqqislam can work - I've converted several female versions of units from sufficiently similar models in other factions, which tend to be received as very faithful efforts.

Blarg. Even if you can't see the chest, it's a broad-shouldered model with no waist.

Just like not all men are hulking steroid abusers, not all women have hourglass figures.

I am aware - my longest running original character is a hulking female cyborg who is a long way from a supermodel's silhouette, but I still don't think that model's a great basis for a female miniature.

I do have a slight history with giving models sex changes, I'd add:

Not a great basis, but still a useable one. It's a hulked up super soldier in some pretty bulky armour. She wouldn't look pretty. I think the female hacker is pretty evident of CB's ignoring their fluff to make pretty pinups (not that I mind).
