I've just completed the first stage of my latest project.

This is designed to be a multi-player convention game with lots of different alien races trying to take over the Earth.

There's a gallery of miniatures here:

The city terrain is here:

The write up so far is here:

EXTERMINATE!

Great stuff. Always nice to see TAG figs as well. What are the vehicles?

Guinness: for those who are men of the cloth and football fans, but not necessarily in that order.

I think the lesson here is the best way to enjoy GW's games is to not use any of their rules.--Crimson Devil

Really love these!
Can't wait to see the rest of the alien forces, also love the mix of miniatures you're using in your other force!

Wish I had someone to game against more regularly that would be up for things like this.

How much are they? A necron army of Daleks would be awesome.

Thanks for sorting the links. I don't think this forum like my Firefox

The tank is a Dinky Toy from the 70s and the Landrover is a diecast off E-bay. The Daleks cost £2.50 each I think and they're really bad sculpts. They're also nearly sold out and I don't think any other company will pay for a Dr. Who licence because it was a frighteningly large amount. Your choice on whether you get them. there are basic Daleks, suicide Daleks, Engineer Daleks, Heavy Weapon Daleks, early film Daleks and destroyed Daleks available. It's true though, they're much more frightening than Necrons.

Thanks for the kind words, there'll pics of the first completed Spugs up soon (basing them now)

Didn't Black Tree make Daleks?

I know I saw them quite recently.

Anyway good stuff looks fun. May I recommend these guys for your forces?

The idea of a necron army of them is really growing on me.

Those are BTD Daleks.
I've been looking at some Cobalt figures from Westwind/Old Glory and some of the Superfigs. So probably in the future sometime I'll get round to them. I have Hydryssians and Greys to do after the Spugs are done which will give me six forces for my multiplayer game that I'm running in July.
After that I'll have had enough of sci fi for a bit and my caveman settlement game and French-Indian War set should be under way and taking up all my time.

The Daleks will work fine with 40k figures.

not only will they work fine for 40K but some would be tournament legal. Citadel made plastic daleks and cybermen at one time. I still have some I wanted to make a tourney legal necron army out of, but fell short of models as I couldnt get my hands on enough.

Somethings wrong with the tardis!

The Citadel figures are 25mm and very small when compared to modern figures, particularly GW ones.
And good luck finding any
