Hi guys!
I've presented this little guy on various forums and platforms before, so you might recognize him.

So without further ado, here's Krom:

Clicking on the image will redirect you to his CMON page, in case you'd like to rate him

I assume this will not remain the only miniature from the box I'm going to present here - the nobz start looking at me challengingly!

The cape looks brilliant. Really like how you did the armour.
10/10 great mini

Smooth as an oiled peanut, superb. Only thing I would say is that the detail on the cloak could be picked out in gold or something to make it more of a feature, it looks a little unfinished at the moment.

@Darkhero: Thank you! I wouldn't exactly call it incredible, but I'm glad you like it

@Paradigm: Thanks But it's only a matter of time until someone paints a version that's going to eat mine for breakfast. Without milk. oO

@tommse: Thank you! I can't give you an exact recipe, as I had to correct tiny mistakes time and time again. But here's the basic idea behind it:
Basecoat with 33/33/33 Dark Flesh/Tallarn Flesh/Hormagaunt Purple
Add 33 Tallarn Flesh, paint it everywhere but in the deepest wrinkles
Add 33 Dwarf Flesh, paint it around the higher features. Leave out the eyelids, though.
Add 33 Dwarf Flesh, set highlights (including the eyelids)
Add 33 Elf Flesh, set final highlights (bridge of the nose, brow, highest part of the cheeks).

@Floyd73: Thanks a lot - it was very fun to paint, too

@Boba Fett: Thank you! I was actually quite surprised with how well the armour turned out. It's just a tiny change from my basic recipe

@tyrannosaurus: ... Smooth as an oiled peanut? Never heard that before - is that a standardized expression?
Thanks a lot! I see what you mean about the pattern. I should have added some more depth to it, but after so many layers on the cloak, I wasn't brave enough to try and trace the recesses... :(

@luftsb: Thanks!

@LutherMax: thank you! That's why it took some 15 hours

@kr00gZ: Thank you! But don't do that.
Instead of setting your hobby place on fire, why don't you just try to sneak into my place and steal and/or mutilate Krom in order to teach me a lesson?
You know, that might save you a lot of money xD

That's the closest I've seen to an 'eavy metal quality face in a long time.

@Random Dude: Thank you!
That is something I've been wanting to hear (or read, respectively) for a very long time. I've always been very impressed by GW's style and wanting to copy that.
Thanks again

@ArchAngel_alex: Thanks, man
It's not that difficult, actually. How do you do it? I just cast a quick glance into your gallery, and since you're able to both freehand and set straight highlights around the edges of armour plates, you should acutally be able to paint faces every way you want them to look
