You need to clean it up a bit.

1) Never ever ever ever ever ever......ever take 2 different weapons systems on the same suit. What if you want to fire the fusion at an AV13 vehicle? Wasted plasma. Pick a role and stick to it by doubling up on one system.

2) Stealth suits aren't very good; crisis are better.

3) Don't take Ion and Rail rifles with Pathfinders. They are for marker support only.

4) Skyrays > Hammerheads. Vehicles are much more durable these days. Hammerheads aren't that great. They're not terrible, but Skyrays at least give you AA as well as AT and you get BS4 markerlights along with.

5) Seeker Missiles = No.

6) You'll need one fw unit to be 11 to fit the fireblade....who should be an Ethereal.

7) The search function is your friend. There are many Tau lists on here that will guide you well, with a lot of the same commentary and much more on how to craft an effective list.

Rule #1 is Look Cool.

I disagree on the stealth suit bashing, I have seen stealth suits be used to a great effect. Crisis suits are good at going in, wiping something, and usually dying. Stealth suits are great at persisting as a very venemous thorn in the enemies side.

Everything else said is both valid and true.

Aftermath can be calculated.

The Twilight Zone

Agree on generally not mixing suit guns. The CIB and burst cannon mix OK, but that is more of the exception. On your commander, I would drop the shield gen and take stim injectors. They protect you against more more of the time since you get a second chance to ignore small arms wounds, and everything but S10 can be bounced. Yeah, the 4++ to ignore instant death is nice, but I would just rely on look out sir and cover. If you have spare points, the neuroweb jammer and onager gauntlet are always good buys.

Stealth teams are not great but if your going to take them put a target lock on the fusion blaster model.

Agree on the ethereal over the fireblade. I would put a larger squad on the quad or just drop the 'ui. Anything that can force morale could probably also just gun down the squad. Kroot would not be a bad user for the quad.

Ion rifles are slightly better than rail IMO, but agree you should just use em for marker support.

Hammerheads are decent for the large blast, but you really need longstrike to justify either the ion or railhead. For hull point chipping and general AT, skyrays are cheaper and come with mobile markerlights. Extra seeker missiles are ok for extra points if you have lots of markerlights/skyrays.

The most important rule of 40K-Page XVII of the 6th edition rulebook, the figure at the top right of the page. "Shake hands with your opponent and thank them for a good battle and fun experience." Then go out for a beer.
