Hey I have had the daemons codex for a while now (I got it for a bloodthirster with CSM) and I want to finally build a daemon army. I want to use slaneesh because I like fast stuff and I know that slaneesh hits hard because of rending. So I would really appreciate it if someone would make a 1500pts competative slaneesh list that uses psykers (I like using psychic powers) I do not have any models for daemons so I think that now would be best to build the army

Ok thanks so they strategy here would be to have the seekers run up the board and have them find spaces for daemonettes and then have the demonettes charge units while the seekers run around some more getting objectives? And what about Anti tank/ anti flyer?

Wait NEVERMIND sorry I just saw the daemon princes/soulgrinders. Which would be better? I would thing the daemon princes flying around using psychic powers on everything and if they need to they can hurt flyers and vector strike vehicles

First off, the best "Center" to a Slaanesh army would be hands down seekerstar. Something along the lines of 15-20 seekers with at least 2 lvl 2 heralds for invisibility.

A lash prince is completely necessary IMO for anti-air, popping vehicles, and whipping the enemy units that don't know their place. Roll on biomancy in hopes of iron arm for 2d6 s9 shots.

One of the best soul grinder loudouts is slaanesh, Baleful torrent, daemon of slaanesh. Doesnt need its horrible ballistics skill to flame on!

Since you are probably taking Daemonettes in blobs (slaanesh, duh) the only real option for them not to get chewed is to deepstrike them off the seekers (or someone else's) icon. Which is great to have complete, healthy blobs of Slaanesh goodness on the enemy line Turn 2 usually, just make sure to give one blob an instrument.

Aftermath can be calculated.

I'm always a bit leery of 'super-units' which rely on you having a specific psychic power; I guess it's no worse than wiffing all your reserve rolls on turn two but it can really leave you flailing if you don't get it.

The Grimoire of True Names is probably another thing to invest in to help protect the seekers.

The good news is that seeker warm bodies are cheap and you should only need to protect them for a turn at most; those things are so damn fast it's untrue.

Slaanesh is the one deity where antitank isn't too much of an issue - rending S3 can handle light armour easily, so the problem is only one of killing walkers or things with high rear armour. Remember that rending is an inherent property of a slaaneshi daemon - they don't lose it if they take a magical weapon (like, say, a strength-boosting greater aetherblade).

Do you know what page the relics are on? I can't find them and how would S 3 hurt vehicles? They would need a side armour of at least 9 for there to at least be a chance of glancing
