Would your list still be considered battle forged if you allied SW's with either Space Marines or Grey Knights? And would it be legal for a space wolf dreadnought to be able to ride in with the storm raven from reserves?l

Why would SW's allying with Space Marines or Grey Knights, or anyone really have any influence on if you are a Battle-forged Army?

Allies do not matter.
Read the "Choosing your army" chapter, "Battle-forged Armies" section, this will explain how to prepare a Battle-forged Army.
What about those rules is confusing?

Okay so it just has to be the same faction, I think I'm catching on. ( I was going to go into a GW store and ask, but I haven't had the time ) . I just wanted clarification because I didn't know if it was allies could ride in dedicated transports, or just transports in general.
I think it would be useful and fun to put murderfang in a storm raven and try to launch an assault by the 3rd turn.

Battle brothers are same faction but an army made up of CADs from tau, space marines and orks would still be battleforged.
the relationship between armies is NOT what determines whether an army is battleforged or not. Just whether the army is org pansies into detachments
