i'd take out the Ultramarines allies... they would benifit better if everyone was using Salamader tactics... and youre gonna have some issues against knights...

you have Vulkan, but only two Salamander Meltaguns?

Change the Ultramarine Dread to Salamanders, give him a HF.

Find a way to get combiweapons on your Sergeants, to add more meltaguns.

Give your Sternguard Combi Meltas.

Can probably get most of the points by dropping the Talon. Gives you less Aerial Defense, but, a Pod List is going to have won the game by Turn 2 or 3, before the Enemy Flyer gets to make much of an impact. On top of that, one Stormtalon by it's lonesome is just going to die horribly if you go first or the enemies flyer is delayed a turn.

How large are your tactical squads? Are they full? What about the Sternguard?

Regardless, there are a bunch of ways you can make GT-worthy pod lists; but this isn't quite it yet. The following are ways I've seen very good players run their pods:

Way 1: Take Calgar and a ton of marines with melta everywhere. That's it. You're a board control army and you use chapter tactics and Calgar's shenanigans to win games with OS.

Way 2: Take Vulkan, two full tactical squads with melta, 2 sternguard squads with 2 specials each and MAX combis. Then take two grav centurion squads. This is an alpha strike list. If your opponent deploys, you've got a SG squad full of melta and a SG squad full of grav coming down in their face T1. That will hurt. If they reserve the important stuff; you still get to kill things but now by the time they come in, your tacticals are sitting on objectives and there are two grav centurion squads patrolling the midfield.

Rule #1 is Look Cool.

If you want a full drop pod list you may want to take three units of ten stern guard with combi meltas and combat squad them in drop pods, then you have your tactical marines with flamers to roast whatever was inside, or sitting on objectives.
