The GW site has a comperehensive list of models and drones, but not the gear and weapons available. Can anyone please clarify:
-Do the Fire Warriors have rifles or carbines?
-How many Burst Cannons/Fusion Blasters are available
-What weapons are available for the Crisis suits?

It's a while since I've built any but...
The firewarriors come with enough rifles for the those unit, but I think only enough carbines for 6.
The stealth team come with one fusion per three (which is the maximum you can take), not sure if it comes with enough bursts to give all three cannons.
The crisis team (as a whole) come with three of each special weapon (burst, fusion, plasma, missile pod, flamer).
All drones are gun drones.

Hello, the battle force comes with all the options except for the special weapons, cyclic ion blaster and air-bursting fragmenter.

I confirm that all drones are gun drones.

Quanar nailed it about crisis suits weapons and most drones, the stealth team's drone is a marker drone (singular).
The crisis also get 3 shield generators and an assortment of random meaningless bits, so drones can be converted to marker/shield drones with relative ease if you want. without any conversions you'll have a total of 10 gun drones (from crisis suits, warriors and piranha) and a single marker drone. conversions with give bits can turn up to 3 guns into markers and up to 3 guns into shield (I wouldn't make shields though)

The stealth do in fact come with 3 burst cannons and a fusion. the piranha has a burst cannon and a fusion gun. (stealth, piranha and crisis burst cannons and fusion guns are NOT the same bits, and might require a bit of work to fit on each other.)

The fire warriors come with 3 sets of 5 options for rifles and matching left hands (except one who is for a guy holding something on his left hand), 3 sets of 2 carbines that match same left hands, and three of each rifle and carbine who are not attached to any hands.
So you can get 9 carbine guys with some work, though honestly there is hardly ever a reason to take carbines over rifles.

can neither confirm nor deny I lost track of what I've got right now.

Spot on above, enough carbines to chuck a few into squads, always worth one or two just for the chance of a pin but I can't see any reason to take a full squad with Carbines over rifles.

You can actually turn any gun drone into a marker drone. Cut the barrel and launcher off the left carbine and flip it around so the butt of the gun is facing forward and cut the launcher off the carbine on the right. Quick and easy conversion.

I'm expecting an Imperial Knights supplement dedicated to GW's loyalist apologetics. Codex: White Knights "In the grim dark future, everything is fine."

"The argument is that we have to do this or we will, bit by bit,
lose everything that we hold dear, everything that keeps the business going. Our crops will wither, our children will die piteous
deaths and the sun will be swept from the sky."

Reviving this since I finally got the Tau Battleforce:

-Are gun drones worth it over marker?

-How should I arm my crisis suits? I understand 2 weapons of a kind is the way to go, but which? Since there's only 3 weapons of each kind?

Gun drones and marker drones have different functions so are equally useful.
Gun drones are good as bubble wrap for suits and are useful because they are I4 which can make the difference with hit and run. They can also be useful for supportive fire.
Marker drones are really only good when taken with a high BS model with a drone controller (commanders) because bs2 markers suck a bit and at that point you may as well get a different source of marker lights.
Summary don't really worry too much have a few of each. You need 2 gun drones for the piranha.

Suits are a whole other matter.
I would advise you magnetise (trust me on this).
Then maybe think long term investment and get another 3 suits.
Then the builds are generally dual missiles, dual fusion and dual plasma.
With 6 suits you have enough weapons to load out however.
Presently you have a few choices.
Run single suits in which case dual fusion or fusion plasma is good for tanks
Run a multi purpose team, kit them out the same way.
Plasma and burst is alright.
I'd probably consider getting some extra weapons if I was you from eBay. They're not much.

Dual Missile suits are good at range for a number of things S7 Ap4 x4 per suit.
Dual fusion are suicidals who drop in and kill then get flattened.
Dual plasma are elite destroyers at either 24" or 12".
Any combination needs marker support.
