I got my first box of Daemonettes today and I'm assembling them and they seem really small. Is this just me or are they a small model

They are.
Well, not the hair, but the rest of them, yeah. It's one of roughly one time I'll recommend plastic glue - re-attaching demonette legs when they snap at the ankle.

I glue the feet onto the bases using superglue (I do that with every model) and the rest I do with plastic glue Automatically Appended Next Post: Is there a specific reason why they are so small? Or is it just to annoy us when we drop them

40K is out of scale.
Obviously all women are small and Daemonettes look more feminine than a Warboss so they must be small.

40k has a lot of scaling issues, i imagine theyre about the size of a human if not slightly larger but of course...miniature scales.
Technically Gretchin are suppose to be the same size as a human just hunched over...yet theyre half the size of guardsmen lol.
Space Marines are what 8ft tall or something insane like that? and they barely stand taller than guardsmen.

Well, they're about right height-wise, they just look like almost like they're 28mm instead of 28mm heroic.
My guess is that they want daemonettes to look particularly lithe. To be fair, they're not that much smaller than wyches, which are designed to look the same way.
I guess the higher your initiative goes, the more thin and lean you are.

Well, they are Daemonettes. It says in the name they should be smaller than your full sized Daemon.
