There were rumors about possible updates for Mono-God lists coming from GW, but I guess it never happened.

I have a combo Slaanesh Army right now with Noise Marines, Daemonettes, Daemon Prince, Seekers, etc. etc. but yet to try adding the daemons in. The CSM Slaanesh has done okay for me.

Also heard reports that Khorne rush armies are pretty decent. Heralds on Juggers with hounds, CSM spawn and some zerkers with Maulerfiends.

We all know Tzeentch is pretty nasty and Nugle has a lot of solid tricks as well with boosts to toughness and some great options.

So I was wondering if anyone had success with these types of lists and what the best combos are? Trying to stay true to fluff with sacred numbers and mono lists.

thoughts?

We tend to stick to mono-god round these part's and i have a Tzeentch 1k son's and daemon's army myself.
I've not had much success with the Tzeentch i must say as the 9 man unit's are too expensive and 5 marines don't survive very long.
Also the daemon's don't seem to be helping much but i'm putting that down to me not knowing the psychic phase as well as i should.
Fighting favored Nurgle is hard especially when backed up by plague-bearer summoning spam. Too many bodies with 2 saves.
I think the nurgle and Slaanesh are best for this combo as the favored marines bring the shooty and the daemons bring the choppy.
Where as Khorne is all choppy and Tzeentch all shooty. The first 2 give good balance to a force the 2nd not so much.

I've been using a daemon prince to summon daemons, and it's been working quite well. The rest of the army is marines in rhinos, maulerfiends, spawn etc.

I used to run chaos lord with noisemarines, but can't fit a chaos lord AND a daemon prince to take noisemarines and summon demons, too.

Ive had a lot of success with Khorne mono builds. Effective and scary, not many lists have the ability to deal with AV 14 rush.

List is as follows

Herald of Khorne - Grimoire + Locus of Wrath - 110
Herald of Khorne - Grimoire + Locus of Wrath - 110
Herald of Khorne - Lesser Reward (Axe of Khorne) - 65
Herald of Khorne - Lesser Reward (Axe of Khorne) - 65

17 Blood Letters 1 Blood Reaper - Lesser Reward (Axe of Khorne) - 185
17 Blood Letters 1 Blood Reaper - Lesser Reward (Axe of Khorne) - 185

Ckull Cannon of Khorne - 125
Skull Cannon of Khorne - 125

Chaos Spartan Assault Tank + Dirge Caster - 290
Chaos Spartan Assault Tank + Dirge Caster - 290

1550 List. Munches pretty much everything that can't outright stop you before your close that gap.

You can't take 2 Grimoires

Aftermath can be calculated.

I am very much looking forward to rumoured mono-god lists. But until then I'm exploring the opportunities available through Unbound.

Trying out a 3,000 pt Unbound soon, will let you know how it goes.

Loads of fun in a friendly/fluff/casual game. But severely outclassed by anyone that halfway optimizes their list.
