Anyone had any issues with Armorcast recently?

I made a small order a few months back... Some of their totally, completely, not at all inspired by Futurama and Borderlands minis and such. Got it in reasonably quickly, and they didn't include doubles of a couple minis. So I emailed them, they explained it was an issue with the new store software they're using (which I offered a deal-in-trade if they needed customization tips) and sent me replacements.

Except, wrong replacements. Wrong minis.

So I've been trying to get in touch with them for a couple months and received nothing but silence. I even mailed the wrong minis back so they hopefully understand I'm not a scammer. I'd almost consider ordering a couple more things form them, but I'm not sure if they're having problems or something: Ironically, part of the reason for the order was that Black Cat Bases apparently has effectively stopped fulfilling orders, and I lost some cash to them on a totally, honestly, really not legally infringing Borderlands-inspired minis.

I eventually mailed back the two mis-shipped minis so they don't think I'm trying to scam them out of $14 worth of product.

So, I know it's con season, but they've had a letter with the dates and relevant info for over two weeks and I haven't heard anything. I thought i saw that a personal issue had caused some problems for them, but I don't know the details.

It's just frustrating not knowing at this point. I like Armorcast and think they have some neat guys doing neat stuff under their name, and haven't had any issues ordering from them before.

Working on someting you'll either love or hate. Hopefully to be revealed by November.

Sadly it seems they are a name that keeps popping up in regards to lack of communication based on similar questions that I've seen on a number of forums in the past

and reinforced by a quick google search

although to be fair people do seem to eventually get their items even if they never get a response to emails

this post http://superflycircus.blogspot.co.uk/2013/06/beware-armorcasts-bearing-stores.html from about a year ago (not me so i have to accept this is only one side of the story and could be a biased view) seems to suggest they feel that as a small operation they are better off spending time casting and shipping than answering emails

If you want the minis you've probably just got to keep waiting patiently, otherwise a paypal dispute may get a response

By the way, I did get my Armorcast order relatively soon and, just this week, got my Black Cat Bases order well over a year late. The people who run Black Cat Bases had a long term illness but are fulfilling old orders now.

I've ordered several times from them in the last year. All bases though. Never had an issue and stuff arrived within 2 weeks.

Nice to hear it ended well.

I know it's not the same owners who made the titans back in the day but I still have fond memories of armorcast.

I ordered some stuff from them about 2 years ago.

Despite a couple of reminder emails I didn't get anything for a long time. No communication whatsoever.

I did get the stuff eventually but it was about a year after I'd ordered it and I'd pretty much forgotten about it entirely. I'd written the money off as lost so it was a bit of a surprise to have a box of stuff randomly turn up one day. On the other hand, I'd pretty much abandoned the project I'd bought them for in the first place, so they weren't even much good to me once I'd got them.

I might be willing to give them another chance with an order but they certainly wouldn't be a first choice and I'd definitely be hesitant to do so.

Well, you don't stuff facts into the Right Wing Outrage Machine©. My friend, you load it with derp and sensationalism, and then crank that wheel.
