Hello this is my first post about my models, so i thought id show my turn counter i made for a game with some friends a day before the actual game. id like to get some feed back on my green stuff skills though quite basic if anyone has some advise, it will be welcome, and for my painting techniques aswell. Finished modelling: and after being painted: the book actually turns round and points at the humber of scrolls indicating which turn it is, critisims welcome.

The highlighting and drybrushing is a little sloppy... but the green stuff execution is rather well done.

It's a very cool idea, and nicely executed. It's tougher to paint up something that's not for an army (at least for me).
One request: next time you post pictures, can you make sure that people don't have to horizontally scroll to see them? It makes everyone's posts stretch as far to the right as the pictures do. Thanks!

Trust me, no matter what damage they have the potential to do, single-shot weapons always flatter to deceive in 40k. Rule #1 - BBAP

That has to be the best turn counter I have ever seen. The idea is old, but you have made it into something quite good, and an idea worth stealing...
But, your paint skills are lacking. I mean this in a nice way, as you are obviously skilled, but alot more work is needed to make this worthy of the sculpting you have done.
Good work overall.
