I will be starting to build my Dark Eldar army soon, and I am specifically aiming to build the Kabal of the Severed. They decorate their Raiders and Ravagers with the hands of their victims. Does anyone know where I could purchase large quantities of hands, preferably with great variety when it comes to size, etc?

I'm alright, but I'm really looking for 25+ hands per Raider/Ravager, which I will be getting four of. I'm not sure it would be worth my time to sculpt 100 hands.

If you need them to be open handed that will be harder to source. Otherwise... there are lots and lots of hands left over whenever I finish with a GW sprue. I'm sure the same is true for plenty of other people.

Just trade with people for them, if you're ok with closed fists for the most part.

You can get open hands from the Empire Archers/Huntsmen box and from the old Empire Militia/Free Company set too. Any Warhammer race that has bow armed troops should be able to supply you with at least a few different hands modelled so that they're loosing an arrow which could suit your needs. It's just a matter of getting enough of them!

I'm not particularly concerned with open vs. closed, more just a matter of getting enough of them. I will probably post in the swap shop sometime soon.

Well, how are you with putty and instamold?

Although... I tell a lie in my first reply. You can get open hands on some arms from the Vampire Counts zombie sprue, though I thought that most bits sellers would be out of stock on those. Looks like some of them still have a few.
