Hey there! New to the forum and just recently got back into war-gaming after a two year hiatus. I played lizards before but, with the new book I would enjoy some advice on my list. I want it to be semi competitive and I'm open to changes, additions or subtractions and changes in the lore for my Slann. Also with the new book (new for me at least) some tips and advice on the lizards would be awesome to explain what's changed and what's worthy to take.
Lords:
- Slann with BSB, cube of darkness, becalming cogitation, focus of mystery (high magic), skaven pelt banner (480)
Heros:
- Skink Priest lvl 1 lore of beasts with engine of the gods, sharpened horns, unstoppable stampede, dispell scroll (400)

So my thinking was the unit with the Slann and scar vet would have frenzy and armour piercing. Just a question on focus of mystery; am I still able to use the contemplations lore rule and say switch out hand of glory or whichever spell for a spell in the life lore, and still keep the rest of the high magic spells?
