I reckon some 'in-use' shots wouldn't go amiss, especially if they were of painted, completed models.

These are 28mm scale, but you can of cause use them on whatever you would like. in our trial runs we have seen them used on noise marines, Imperial Guard, Orks, or more historical miniatures like Jacobites or celts, they fit pretty well on any 28mm scale miniature, with a little bit of modelling skill applied they also don't look too far out of place 25mm or 35mm though the plan eventually is to provide product specifically for these sizes.

We are working on this, unfortunately a member of our team got over excited and posted these up early, rather than just shut down the thread we decided to run with it, in use photos will be ready as soon as possible.

Given the size differences between marine, guard and ork arms, and the fact that the forearms are sculpted on these, that seems unlikely.

Actually the difference in size of the arm of most of Games Workshop products is very small – I include below a size chart I have taken myself showing a Space Marine, Astra Militarum and Fantasy Chaos Marauder arm (these were just the bits I happened to have lying around at the time)

Whilst a Space Marine arm is larger at the shoulder joint this would be hidden under the shoulder guard and as such is less of an issue, the actual arm is pretty much the same size as anything else however. Unfortunately Games Workshop does not allow us to showcase our pieces onto their models or I would show you how each piece would look on each army.

Whilst I freely accept that there is a little difference in the size of each arm our pieces have been designed to be generic enough to fit with anything that you wish to use them on. It has been our experience that people who look for conversion pieces are able to correct any minor size differences between different company parts themselves, indeed for us creating something unique in this fashion is part of the joy of the hobby.

All this said however, as you are clearly looking for a “best fit” option, I would say that out of all the models available from Games Workshop this would be a best fit for a Space Marine. This is only a guide however and you are not limited to using them for Space Marines, as always the only limit is your own imagination.

I guess with armoured instrument arms and a guitar amp backpack these are meant for sort of tongue-in-cheek noise marines?

Kinda niche.

Now take any of those three arms and put them on an Ork boy and see how it looks.

So, this is what you should have said at the start.

'Suitable for any 28mm miniature' is too vague to be useful, because it quite simply can not be true. There are too many proportional and size differences between different '28mm' ranges. If you're making parts for space marines, then say so. You're not going to make more sales by being unclear about what your product does... That will have the exact opposite effect, as people won't buy if they're not sure the parts will be suitable for what they want.

Ork are are also of a similar size, though I will admit that this will deoend on which ork body you compare this too. The only reason I did not include the ork arm in the photo is that I did not have one to hand.

There was no intension on our part to be unclear, providing a full list of every single model produced by every company that produces 28mm parts would simply be impossible, therefore when asked I provided a list of parts that this has been used previously I did so, for some reason you then decided that I must be lying but hopefully the photo above proves that this is not the case.

Whilst the backpacks were designed to fit well with space marines these were produced after the instruments. The instrumemts however were not originally intended for 40k at all and were produced more for historical gaming, it was only once we allowed other gamers to start using these that we saw the potential for scifi gaming.

Our intent was never to mislead our customers as nothing would be gained by doing such, I have tried to answer your questions to the best of my ability, listing out every single possible miniature that these would and would not fit would simply be an impossible task - it is for this reason I said 28mm scale and provided the examples that I have seen them used on, I am not aware of any company that produces 28mm parts who provide a full list of compatible models however we are a new company and I am more than willing to learn what our customers do and do not like, if you could point me in the direction of a parts company that you feel is clear when discussing sizes for models I will certainly take that under advisement for future releases.
