Still pretty new to Chaos. I was able to get a lot of models for cheap and this is what I came up with for a list.
I have everything except the two maulerfiends, 1 rhino, and the Jugg for the lord (will be doing a conversion soon though)

I like your Chaos Lord, put him with the spawn and don"t let him sit out in the open and he will be a pretty tough nut to crack.
Daemon Prince looks good, I plan on getting one and running him exactly like that. Just make sure you keep him in cover and remember his 4+ jink
Maulerfiends are good just don't rely on them to heavily, FA12 SA12 is pretty good but and its a walker so it will destroy things like space marine squads but can be tied up easily and cracked from afar since its all about cqc
If I were you..... I would remove the melta bombs from the squads since each one has a power weapon that adds to their strength stat, they should be fine without them. Also remember that the chaos power maul is NOT unwieldy and has concussive  very bueno
Other then that man hug cover, deploy intelligently, and just try to win that role off. Deciding to go first or second is a HUGE advantage! Oh and have fun with your new army of course!

thanks guys, good call on those melta bombs. I still need to figure out where I can drop 10/15 points to make it to 1850.
My goal is to give shooty armies enough big scary distractions to focus while I drive my CSM squads and HQ right into their face.
What I am concerned about is holding objectives and killing stuff at the same time. CCW isnt helpful if you are sitting on an objective not doing anything.

IMO you should just give them their bolt guns, its versatile and allows them to reach out and touch some people.
Also I apologize, the power maul IS unwieldy BUT the sorcerers force staff is NOT and has concussive  soooo yeah my bad
also I could you define your helcult for me? whats all in it?

By bolt guns do you mean bolt pistols? I can't use CCW with boltguns I thought.
The helcut is just as is, Helbrute with multimelta and power fist, and 20 cultists with CCW and auto pistols.

hmmm looks good, no real critique except as said above, put the bolters on the marines, and try to get them some special weapons like 2x melta, or double flamer.
be sure to remember that the demonprince of nurgle has shrouding. so his 4+ jink save becomes 2+. also with the prince having no armor choose his combats carefully.

If you're hurting for points i'd toss the daemon prince, he is for sure the weak link in your army. In CSM, anything without high range or defense needs redundancy to account for inevitable losses, which is why you must, for instance, take 2 or 3 rhinos, and never just 1 Same generally goes for daemon princes, you need 2 or 3 because 1 usually gets shot down before they make it into cc and another usually dies after they wipe out a squad and are left in the open. So if you take 3, one will usually make it to the end of the game when all the big guns are down and he can rampage about.

This is generally the rule for demon princes and most MC, BUT if you throw the Burning Brand on your DP instead of the black mace he plays just like a heldrake (before they got messed with) as long as you keep him in the air + is crazy cover saves/jink saves and the ability to get on the ground makes him very ruthless. Your opponent can either ignore him or waste 2+ turns shooting at him.
of course that's just MO play him how you will

This is pretty similar to what I run. Couple of things..:
Take some meltaguns. Knights exist.
Either split the oblits up or take :VOTLW.
Or, consider crimson slaughter for better artifiacts.
If your going to take a nurgle prince, a psychic level and a spell familiar let's you throw dice at summoning daemons every turn. (Obviously you need more models for this) Automatically Appended Next Post: In terms of cutting stuff, I dont think much of the hellcult. 10 fearless humans is kinda meh. The hellbrute is OK but no maulerfiend. Now 30 fearless humans is kinda cool. And is what, 130 +75 for a lord, so same sorta points and objective secured. Not saying thats worth it tho.
