My groups been loving maelstrom, we also play a bit of Kill Team. I wrote up 36 missions using with different formats for generating and scoring tactical objectives for our regular games with pretty good results. Just wondering if anyone has done Tactical Objectives in Kill team or has ideas about making that work smoothly.

We're gonna try it out and see if we can make it interesting, just wondering if anyone has already been doing it and has any suggestions. Before I start writing. If anyone has done alternate missions or scoring systems for kill team games wouldn't mind the ideas.

Don't have experience but it seems doable. For objective control, I'd use the number of models within 3" to determine control, with objective secured models breaking a tie.

- use 3 objectives, instead of 6
- any draws to kill flyers, vehicles, or psykers are instead to kill an enemy specialist

If you like kill teams, have you picked up the newer rules for it? I did and was pleasantly surprised by what it offered. some good solid specialist rules, and some fun missions.

I have a feeling you would almost need to make up your own list of maelstrom missions or just remove/modify some that wont really work well. like flyers and psychers and vehicles.

Blood for the bloo... wait no, I meant for Sanguinius!

Yeah, we have the new rules and have been liking them. We also like tactical objectives, although I wrote up our own set of 36 missions for my group using the cards over the BRB ones. Been liking the results seeing a lot more variation in list building, and I'd like to work them into kill team. Was just asking if anyone has tried already and run into any problems. I think I like your idea of only running 3 obj's for some missions, would create more focused heated conflicts maybe.

Maybe I'm trying to do more then is realistic in a pretty limited game format. We enjoy it as is already.
