Wolf guard can't be split off anymore, but having so many hq options combined with multiple force org gives for an interesting substitute.

but what is worthy of note for you guys?

The standouts for me:

Cheaper Blood Claws, TWC and Terminators
Better Dreadnoughts (3++)
Integral Pack Leaders
FOC-less Lone Wolves

More importantly, no units or characters going the way of the IG ones, missing presumed axed. Having a new HQ choice in Harald might be interesting too.

Seems like a solid book, less unique interesting stuff with fewer special unit specific rules but I think that is the way they are heading with the latest codex's.

Thunderwolves seem pretty boss being cheaper and having lost all their restrictions, Iron priest are hugely undercosted for the their survivability and damage output when on a wolf.
Bloodclaws now a good alternative to hunters but scouts have been made very lackluster.
Most stuff in line with the vanilla dex which is no bad thing, the new flyers are good but fair as are most of the special characters.

I know the reason for putting all dedicated transports as their own options (allows full use in unbound lists) but I think its a big misstep with droppods. Certain units shouldn't be allowed access to accurate first turn automatic reserve drops and this and the allies rules allows all imperial units to take it as an option. Space wolf chauffeurs will be turning up on lots of tournament battlefield in the very near future, just seems a bit silly and wrong.

Fast Attack drop pods will break every imperium army and make drop pod lists even more of a problem
