Hi everyone. So I've just finished my Tau army and now I'm starting a DE army, maybe even using them as allies sometimes. I already have a Kabalite warriors squad, and I have a succubus coming in my local store next week (There was no more Haemonculus or Archon up for sale for Canada). Here's what I'm thinking to buy next :
DE army box + 2 raiders.
Do you think it's a good start ?

The Dark Eldar box is a good start.
Smart first buys are two venoms. Id actually say to get those BEFORE Raiders, even though you'll nee both.

Hold out bait to entice the enemy. Feign disorder, and then crush him.

I think Ravagers are a solid choice. However, I'd recommend waiting a bit before you spend too much. New DE Codex might be coming within several months so you could save some monies for the potential new shiny.

Buy Ravagers instead of Raiders, cause you get the 2 raider sprues plus an additional one for the ravager. You can still build a raider but with lots more options (Shock prow, Torment Grenade Launcher, 2 more sails etc.)

Yeah, I heard about the rumours of DE getting a new dex before the end of this year. That's why I want to stick to the core and cheap stuff lol.

Stock up on transports and basic infantry and save all the specials/ heavies on the sprues and wait for the new book.
