I am part of a relatively small hobby group who all play 40k. Mostly I will be playing against SM. Also, one friend of mine plays orks and one other plays Tau.
The list I am playing is as follows
+CSM
HQ--
Kharn
Troop--
Zerkers x8, Champ w/ power Axe, Rhino
Zerkers x8, Champ w/ power Axe, Rhino
Elite--
HellBrute
Chosenx7, 3x Power Weapons, Champ w/ LC + PF, Rhino, IoW
Heavy
Oblit x3 (Will be modelled all Khorn-ey, but MoK on OBlits is a handicap at best, so I won't pay for it.)
+Allied Daemons
HQ--
Herald of Khorne w/ Juggernaut, 20 pts of rewards, don't know if I want lesser or greater rewards though.
Troop--
Bloodletters x10
Bloodletters x10
The plan is to let Kharn go with the Chosen and have the 'Zerkers all go different directions. I don't plan on them actually doing decimating damage, but then, turn 2, I drop all my daemons/oblits on the table, and let some form of "Oh gak there are suddenly twice as many units as before!' panic set in. I was under the impression that threat saturation was the idea behind Mono Khorne Armies. The Hellbrute will go up the table behind the Rhinos, I guess, I really only take him because the DV Hellbrute is a total boss looks-wise.
What I wonder is if running chosen like this is a good idea. Also, are bloodletters better run with or without the champ/rewards/icons etc.
Any other feedback is welcome
