Hey folks,

I am parting with the majority of my WM/H collection, but I thought I'd keep two smaller forces in order to play the game if the whim ever strikes me. However, I have not played much of any MK II, and haven't played WM/H seriously since the MK II beta test, so I am not sure which items are worthwhile and which are lackluster.

Ideally I'd like to have a couple of lists that I could take to pick up games and play with a reasonable chance to win. I am not looking for over powered lists, merely something that won't get me labeled "TFG" and that won't also make me a push over. Points-wise what is the average for a game now? 35 points? Whatever the average is let's keep the points total there.

Collection-wise I have every Cryx, Merc and Minion model that was eligible to be used by Cryx up through the release of Legends. Most of the 'jacks and units I have in multiples (some, multiples or multiples...damn bonejacks!). I also recently picked up a few newer models like the Iron Lich Overseer and the Warwitch solo.

Caveats:
There are a few models I am keeping simply because I love the models themselves, so these are going into the list regardless of how viable they might be. Those legacy models are:
Terminus
Skarre1
Deathjack
Soul Hunters (5)
Darragh Wrathe

Terminus and Skarre are going to be my two casters.

I know Terminus likes undead, so I was planning on keeping a unit each of Banes (Thralls and Knights) along with Tartarus as well as 18 Revenant Crew and Rengrave. Which 'jack should I use for Terminus' 4 jack points? I was thinking a Nightwretch, but are there more efficient options? Are the Terminus infantry choices dumb? Should I be focusing elsewhere? What about the Revenant cannon team, is that worth taking?

For Skarre I was going to try and run a Raider heavy force. Are Raiders still mediocre? I used to take Banes with Skarre for her SacStrike, but that has changed slightly in MK II, no? What does Skarre like to take these days? Suggestions for infantry, solos, and 'jacks would be appreciated.

Would either caster benefit from a Bokur bodyguard?

Thanks in advance.

For Terminus jack, you might want a stalker or something along those lines. He really doesn't care for arc nodes, and it can threaten another assassination angle.

His troop choices aren't bad, banes are always good. The cannon crew is kinda corner case, but with Redgrave they can be decent. Not sure if that's something you want to throw in at 35 points though. Speaking of, 35 is pretty standard, though 50 is a bit more common I think.

For pSkarre, infantry is your friend. Raiders with the UA are pretty legit, and on feat turn they get nasty. If you haven't seen them, check out bane riders. They become absolute beasts on her feat turn, and give you one of the highest outputs for a sac strike. You might want a necrosurgeon too, to heal any cutting and to use the stitch thralls for focus. I guess a skarlock too, that way she doesn't have to cast it.

A Bokur would be good for either, pSkarre is kinda squishy and terminus doesn't want to get sniped by certain things.

Thanks for the great response, novaspike.

Geez, I am really feeling out of it for not having thought of a Skarlock for those two casters. That thing was always an auto-include in my lists.

Should I avoid 'jacks with Skarre and run almost all infantry with some arc nodes or can she fuel a heavy or two? I was leaning towards a Ravager for the thematic "sea raiders with reach weapons" army, but I was reading that Skarre does well with Nightmare which got me considering taking that 'jack as well.

She does ok with a heavy, but it's more common to just take a jack to use up jack points.

With ritual sacrifice she can fuel a single heavy (usually), but her bread and butter is dark guidance. With DG up banes don't need Tarterus to help hit, Raiders have a pretty good chance to get crit knockdowns, and even Mcthralls can reliably hit. That and her feat mean that she can supercharge infantry.

That being said, if you wanted to run Nightmare with her, on feat turn he can be crazy good (not that he's bad normally, but ARM 23, P+S 21 (23 vs prey) with a possible P+S 27 (or 29) combo strike is awesome).
