I have a relatively small nurgle army and I don't know what to buy next!!

Firstly, I will say I don't particularly want something I already own, nor do I want Rhinos (far too boring )

I was wondering what I should buy next that can be quite fun to use, but not completely useless at the same time!!

So far I have:

Nurgle Lord
Daemon Prince
20x Plague Marines
3x Bikes
Sorcerer
Heldrake

Any ideas would be welcomed

I always try to keep this up to date with what projects I'm working on... but they just keep piling up

I'd take a look at the rules for Obliterators, since you don't so far have anything for your Heavy Support slots.

(but sadly I think the Obliterator models are finecast...if that matters to you, they seem fairly easy to make conversions for)

Unfortunately, that's probably your best option. Three bikes, for example, isn't really much of anything, but a full-sized squad or two, on the other hand...

Also, you've got 20 plague marines, but if you're really wanting to go in that direction, you could probably have some more.

Otherwise, I'd just sort of pick a direction and run with it for awhile. Get a big squad of terminators or a few maulerfiends or a big pile of possessed, or something. It really just depends on what you want to do.

Cultists = cheap, and can hold objectives in the back field.
Vindicator = Good against anything and tough.

If you fancy bringing allies:
Plaguebearers + Herald of nurgle = Excelent for holding objectives in cover and bog down enemy
Soulgrinder = Better than the defiler in every way that matters

Just my two cents.. good luck!

ps. If you are considering Obliterators... I suggest converting them from Centurions... Easy if you want them to be nurgely

Cultists were on my list to buy actually!!

And I was thinking the exact same about the Nurgle Centurions ironically

Obliterarors. Definitely one of the better CSM units. Fun, versatile and effective.

Don't forget Typhus can turn Cultists into Plague Zombies. And anything to scale with 2 weapons and a zombie paint job would do for that. It would be hard for me not to jump on that if I played Nurgle.

I'd pick him up or convert one eventually.

Maulerfiends are a ton of fun to run! With MTC, Fleet and 12" movement, they are fast. The look on my opponent's face when I charged his advancing Hellhound with it turn 1 was precious.
Sadly the model is fugly, so I suggest a conversion of some kind.

With all those Plague Marines you need a way to get them across the board, throw them in a rhino

I agree. Getting 1 more plague marine so you can have 3x7. Then buy 3 rhinos from me. Check my sig for link. I have them reserved for you.

Why take 7, if 5 give 2 specials anyway? The list doesn't have a biker deathstar with invisibility, so multiple maulers wouldn't work. I guess 4 rhinos and 9 oblits should do at first. Why did you buy a helldrake?

I bought a Heldrake because I liked the idea/look of them!! I'm more in it for the aesthetics to be honest

A think I may have to treat myself to some form of Maulerfiend!! :3

Well, 20 Cultists as Zombies for Typhus, 20 Plague Bearers for summoning, 3 Obliterators, 2 Maulerfiends, 3 Bikers.
