I've been playing space wolves since 3rd and I'm bored of the army. The new releases don't do much for me. I've always liked eldar and I only play leagues/tournaments anyway so now seems like a good time to start the army. I chose iyanden so I can make a WK my warlord. This should mitigate the enemy having much chance at slay the warlord points. The spiritseers make wraithguard troops so I have 5 objective secured wave serpents. The wraithknights and dire avengers are anti infantry while the wraithguard and wave serpents take out enemy armor. What do you guys think of the weapon loadouts?

Wraithknights are best stock. Suncannons are great at killing things the rest of your list is already good at killing. You need those cannons to deal with heavy armor. Not to mention with you points you save you can grab some jetbikes or swooping hawks

Thanks. Between 5 jetbikes, 4 jetbikes with 1x shrunken cannons or a squad of swooping hawks, what would you take?

I don't have the points for warp spiders. I have 85 points to spare at most, they cost 95 minimum.

I wouldn't change anything but maybe drop the spiritseer with spear for holo fields on serpents.

I have holo fields on all the serpents. I will probably run the wraithknights stock and add D scythes to the wraithguard.

You don't have 85 points. You have 120. NEVER take Scatterlasers on your stock WKs, since they can only fire two guns at a time.

Personally, I'd use those points to upgrade one Spiritseer to a Mantleseer and make him your Warlord.

I was told by like 27 people in the eldar FB group to take the D scythes on the wraithguard. The list now is

For the last bit of points, possibly a small Jetbike squad or even a single War Walker to outflank?

Theres no reason to have 2 spirit seers. Drop one, and take 3 squads of 3 jet bikes.

That would give me 7 troop choices. I will try dropping a spirit seer and adding 1 squad of jetbikes and a squad of warp spiders.
