Thanks for the replies guys! I've modified the original list and added in some units (namely modified the Nobs and added trukk boyz)

What're your opinions on Burna Boyz and Lootas? I've head people sing the praises of Lootas but I'm not such a fan of the models (love the way Burnas look though!)

Well for one thing thing you need another troop to make this list battle forged. So I would suggest maybe a squad of 20 Shoota or slugga boyz as a screen unit.
Also foot nobs are just not all that great I would suggest a Trukk or battle wagon or again a screen unit of more grots or boyz so that your hard hitting units stay alive longer.
Mek gunz are good.
However I've never used kans or looted wagons so I'm not a credible source for those too units

So hopefully once the list is all there you do good Sanctus reach seems fun to play

Kans are normally ran with grotzookas. If you like kit bashing that should be easy enough. I believe if you got Sanctus Reach you should have a squad of boyz. If not then pick up the truck boyz box they just put out. It is a good deal and will give your slow army a little speed. As for the looted wagon, I use to run one when they had the boom gun. Now I just use it as another truck. Seeing as you need some speed I would suggest doing the same. As for it not being a truck, don't work about it. For orks anything with 4 wheels can be a truck. I run the quad gun as you suggested. Put your grots on it. This makes it pretty decent and will force the enemy to pay attention to it. Many a storm raven have fallen to my grots. Even took out a Tau Tiger Shark with it one game. Nothing is more fun that killing the biggest unit on the field with a grot. Also it is really helpful that the grots are shorter than the defense line. This means no shooting them from far away. The enemy will have to assault to take it out. I like that you have kombi skorchas. Any other kombi weapon for the orks is a waste with BS2. In the troop department I prefer truck boyz. Put 12 in a truck. 10 sluggas, 1 Big Shoota, and one nob with PK. Trucks only work if you have more than one so at least plan on fielding two.

Random thoughts there. In short good start. Add the defense line, a few squads of boyz and a few trucks and you will have a decent army.

You have way to many points into big things. The nobs squad is way to many points in such a small game. You need boys. I hate grots! they are not worth their points what so ever. AGL is a waste of points. Esecially if you add in the quad as well. that is a 100 points that you just wasted. If you need AA in 1K then you might as well go with 2 traktor kannons. I have ALWAYS used Rokkits on my Kans, but I have been thinking of switching them to KMB's, having the AP2 can be worth it for sure. After all why waste their BS3 on template weapons?

What does Grukk Face-Rippa do for you? Can he just be a regular Boss that might end up being cheaper? Does he get special rules or anything?

Hope this helps.

Grukk is a total hard core ork Warboss. He is only 10 points more than an identically kitted out Warboss and he has 5+ feel no pain and a power klaw with shred. For ten points more what a steal! (He also has a locked warlord trait that is one of the best in the book, the reroll failed leadership withing 12" one

For the guy who leaves it all on the field (because he doesn't pick up after the game).
Keep on rolling

Ok, sounds pretty good. I don't use Warbosses, but sounds like a decent way to spend the points.

I've edited and changed the original list to incorporate suggestions that I quite liked (and were economical for my poor wallet!)

I've heard/read people saying positive things about Lootas and Burnas, what do you guys think? Do they have a place?
