I have a choice to get another warlord or 3 Warhounds.
I'm hesitant to pick the warlord because it would out shadow Aetaos and Anggrath (who are far bigger threats fluff wise) even more.
So which is better Ruleswise?

Finally found my quote from a gym buddy born and raised in South Korea:
"It is the soldier, not the reporter who has given us the freedom of the press.
"It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us the freedom of speech.
"It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who gives us the freedom to demonstrate.
"It is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves beneath the flag, and whose coffin is draped by the flag, who allows the protester to burn the flag."

First, wow, you must be playing some serious apoc games. I am a bit jealous.

In a pure measure of dakka and resiliency per point the warlord is a little better than 3 warhound titans. However the rules will probably never be updated and storing a model the size of a person is just unpleasant. I would definitely recommend the warhound titan(s). They pack a good deal of punch and they are titan size but still easy to store and transport. They can also be used in regular sub 2000 pts games and are actually pretty reasonable with the new rules for D weapons.

Tactically I would also almost always prefer 3 warhound to a warlord as it is harder to lock them in combat and keep them from targeting important units. You can also apply your firepower more efficiently.

3 can hit more targets at same time + well positioned could cover each other with overlping fire zones.

3 can be far more flexible + giant titan = giant Target

Sgt. Vanden - OOC Hey, that was your doing. I didn't choose to fly in the "Dongerprise'.

FudgeDumper - It could be that you are just so uncomfortable with the idea of your chapters primarch having his way with a docile tyranid spore cyst, that you must deny they have any feelings at all.

I envy the fact that you have the money to buy FW Titans. I guess people with full-time jobs have more disposable income than full-time students.

*edit becuz wordz is hard.

I own a reaver titan. Feels like a waste of money to have it really.

Unless you have nothing important to buy with your money (holidays, wedding, house etc) then I wouldnt recommend it. They take up space, and unless you are gonna use them often, loose you money as an expensive ornament.

Just stick to one and leave it at that would be my advise. Far better things to spend money on that will actually enhance your life etc

Especially since you already have some.

All in all, up to you. But Id say none personally.

I would get 3 War hounds myself.

Double turbo laser warhound is pretty crazy

Having 6 turbolasers would be nutz!

That's 4 Str D blast shots per titan

3 Warhounds with turbo-lasers net you 2 more D-plates and 2 additional targets over a Warlord with an all Turbo-laser loadout. Also, 3 Warhounds have more hull points, can be in more places, and in general takes 9x more effort to kill than one Warlord. Although Warlords are cooler.

This, I use my Warhounds more than my Reaver, and my Knights more than my Warhounds.

Forgive me, where are you buying the Warlord model from?
FW only produce up to Reaver size dont they?
Is this a third party kit, can you post a link?

Titan Manifactorum.
I'm on my phone on site so I can't give a link, but type that in and you'll find it.
It's called the Warbringer Maximus Titan.
It's 24' tall by 17' wide by 11' thick.
It's incredibly pretty and is a small amount cheaper than a Reaver.

I was thinking of getting a Warbringer soon.

It's my understanding that the beast is a resin shell over a foam core. Do you ever worry about durability or fragility?

I've dropped the one I already own 4 feet. It was fine. That was carpet though.
