Using the latest codex to affect the fluff.... Does this mean that the Wolves have finally fixed their gene seed and are free to start successor chapters? I know of the Wolf Brother incident, but with apparent newfound stability, it shouldnt be a problem this time.

I know this topic brings the crunch into the fluff forum, but my aim of discussion is at the fluff, and what the new crunch should mean to it.

Does the codex say that they are no longer affected by the mutation in their Geneseed

It changes nothing. The only change is that the Wulfen is no longer represented in the game.

We just have to hid them in basements now.

The Fang has many basements. Murderbasements.

Back in the day, we were epic Space Vikings with horns, and beer, and stupid mockney accents, and we didn't have any truck with this flying around like a pansy shizzle. We certainly didn't surround ourselves with mangy animals.

Now we're basically the Bestiality Chapter.

We also now ride chariots and employ daemonic dreadnoughts...also, we fly and teleport with abandon. With wolves.

just because the crunch isn't there doesn't mean the fluff isn't there. there are a lot of things mentioned in the fluff that have no linked rules.

an obvious example would be that stricly by the fluff dragio should always be forced to deep strike in, alone

Opinions are not facts please don't confuse the two

It also has an average of 6 "wolfy" words per paragraph, and will use either a variation or a synonym of "murder" at least every tenth word.
