I was unclear on this as it seems like you shouldn't be able to do it but wanted to make sure. If you have for example a Lone Wolf in terminator armour which gives him the deep strike ability. And this lone wolf selects as war gear a pair of Fenrisian wolves. Do they deep strike with him or does he lose his ability to deep strike?

This may have been made clear in the book but I couldn't find it.

Deep Strike rules state the entire unit must have the DS rule.
The Wolves don't have it.

It's a shame they've allowed the use of Teleporting in the new Codex. Totally goes aginst the Space Wolf fluff that they never use teleporters!

I agree. I preferred the drop pod terminators from before, and the old rune priest powers were actually good. But since the teleporter is there I may as well use it, the question is do the wolves go with the model?

Unless the Wolves somehow gain the Deep Strike rule, no they can't.

Wolves don't have the DS rule, I asked the same thing before and was just as disappointed.

Yeah seems a shame, they should add some form of teleporter collar for an extra point lol. Thanks for clean that up though guys.

Just to add on, are the wolves allowed to embark on a drop pod with said Lone wolf?

Good question. They had a special rule in the previous codex allowing them to enter transports if bought as wargear.
No such rule now (although, some other rules what happens with units and wolfs on page 94, so probably not just forgotten).
So, no beasts in transports these days.

LAME! They need to FAQ that then
No teleporting? Sure, makes sense
Can't go in the Land Raider with his master? WTF?

The "Will not teleport" thing was a 3rd ed invention.
I've said it before, I'll say it again - Nothing good ever came of 3rd ed. Worst Edition Ever
