I am going to be going to a tournament in a few weeks and have made up a list. It is straight forward and I was wondering if anyone has any experience with the NOVA format who would like to chime in here.

Dark Eldar Primary CAD detachment

Heamy (warlord, +1 to sieze and re roll reserves)

3 Trueborn with 2 Splinter Cannon - Raider
3 Trueborn with 2 Splinter Cannon - Raider

4x units of 5 Kabalites with a blaster in each mounted in Venoms with Dual Cannons
3 wracks with a venom with dual cannon
3 wracks with a raider

3 Triple Lance Ravagers

Allied Eldar Detachment

Spirit Seer

5 Dire Avengers in a Scatter Laser Wave Serpent
3 Eldar Jetbikes

2 Vypers with dual shuriken cannon

2 Warwalkers with dual scatter lasers

So, this is pretty much a min-max list. I am expecting to pick NOVA mission primary to score points at the END of the game rather than through the game, and I feel like I have enough units that I could throw away some here and there to prevent an opponent from scoring points as the game goes on. It has a lot of firepower but is fragile, and I know that movement, placement and target priority will be key to make this list work. Any tips and tricks in terms of NOVA would be greatly appreciated. Cheers!

Don't have any NOVA experience, but I think your list looks good!

The 3 man wrack units and vypers don't really seem to have a place. That's about 350 pts you could be spending on another wave serpent and squad of Jetbikes.

Is forgeworld allowed? If so get 3 hornets...

I'd run something like this.

Baron
Jetseer, stones and shard
2x5 warriors in venoms
2x5 avengers in serpents
3x dual pulse hornets
3x ravagers
Full Beastpack

Loads of shooting, good melee unit, 8 objective secured units.

If hornets arnt allowed use war walkers instead with scatter / bl or sc

@ flaming tadpole - thanks for the comment. I got a chance to play the ist vs 8 taurox primes with ML and Autocannon, and a knight... and assorted infantry. I am glad to say, the list performed well, even after getting the initiative stolen from me.

@Shingen - If I had the models, I would run dual pulsar hornets all day long. But sadly, I do not have the models. The three man wrack units are sit at home objective holders and come in handy in some of the NOVA missions when you need Quantity of units to take table quarters for example. I do like the idea of two wave serpents, sadly I lack the models as well for a second one, and since the tournament is on sunday I am not going to be able to get that ready, the eldar jetbikes rarely let me down. I am thinking of dropping one splinter cannon and adding haywire grenades to the trueborn, just in case.
